A Yealink phone system for an Australian small business is a hosted VoIP service or 3CX plus Yealink handsets. For 5 staff: T33G desk phones and one DECT handset. For 10 staff: T54W for the office, a T46U with EXP43 at reception, a W73P DECT system. For 25 staff: T54W and T43U by role, a reception console, DECT for the warehouse, WH63 headsets for phone-heavy seats and a CP925 for the meeting room. ARC IP Networks quotes the handsets as one order; your provider supplies the calling service.
ARC IP Networks is a trusted Yealink supplier in Australia: genuine Yealink stock with the full manufacturer's warranty, delivered Australia-wide at competitive prices, with local pre-sales help for businesses, installers and IT providers.
How a small business phone system fits together
Modern business phones are internet phones. Three parts make a system:
- The calling service. A hosted VoIP provider (most Australian small businesses), 3CX (self-hosted or hosted), UniFi Talk, or Microsoft Teams Phone. This is where numbers, call queues, voicemail and auto-attendants live.
- The network. A PoE switch powers the phones over the same cable that carries data; a decent router or gateway with QoS keeps calls clear.
- The handsets. Yealink desk phones, DECT cordless phones and headsets. These are what ARC IP Networks supplies.
Yealink is the handset most Australian hosted providers support first, so provisioning is usually automatic: give the provider the phone's MAC address and it configures itself when plugged in.

The three products most small-business systems start with
Choices that save money later
- Buy PoE. A PoE switch costs more than a plain one but removes a power adapter and a power point from every desk.
- Gigabit pass-through. If PCs share the phone's cable, choose Gigabit phones (T33G, T31G, T4U, T5W) so the PC is not capped at 100 Mbps.
- One DECT base, many handsets. A single W70B base takes up to 10 handsets, so buy the W73P bundle and add W73H handsets as you grow rather than buying several small cordless systems.
- Headsets for anyone on the phone more than an hour a day. A DECT headset pays for itself in comfort and lets staff fetch a file mid-call.
- Keep the models few. Two or three Yealink models across the office means one set of accessories and spares.
Microsoft Teams instead of a VoIP provider?
If the business already runs on Microsoft 365, Teams Phone with Yealink MP series phones is an option; see our Teams phone guide. For most small businesses a hosted VoIP provider with SIP phones is simpler and cheaper per seat.

Three things: a calling service (a hosted VoIP provider, 3CX, UniFi Talk or Microsoft Teams Phone), a network with a PoE switch, and Yealink handsets: desk phones for fixed seats, DECT cordless for mobile staff and headsets for phone-heavy roles. ARC IP Networks supplies the handsets and network gear; the provider supplies the numbers and calling.
Yealink T33G desk phones for the desks, a T46U or T54W for whoever handles most calls, and a W73P DECT system if anyone works away from a desk. All are PoE powered and auto-provision with Australian hosted VoIP providers.
T54W for managers and busy desks, T43U or T33G for general staff, a T46U with an EXP43 expansion module at reception, a W73P DECT base with W73H or rugged W57R handsets for the warehouse, WH63 or WH64 headsets for sales and support, and a CP925 conference phone or MeetingBar A40 for the meeting room.
Yes. Yealink is the most widely supported handset brand among Australian hosted VoIP providers, and with 3CX, FreePBX and UniFi Talk. Most providers auto-provision the phone from its MAC address.
It is strongly recommended. Yealink desk phones and DECT bases are PoE powered, so a PoE switch removes a power adapter from every desk. Without PoE, each phone needs a Yealink power adapter.
Yes. Send your headcount by role and your calling platform, and ARC IP Networks will quote the Yealink handsets, headsets, DECT system and PoE network gear as one order with Australia-wide delivery, with trade pricing for installers and IT providers.
