Why panoramic?

One camera, a whole scene

Panoramic cameras use multiple lenses/sensors in one housing to deliver a wide, seamless field of view — typically 180° — from a single mounting point. That means full coverage of large open areas (car parks, yards, retail floors, building frontages) with one cable run and one licence instead of several cameras. Many Hikvision panoramic models add ColorVu for full-colour footage at night.

How to choose a panoramic camera

Coverage: panoramic suits wide, open scenes from a single high mounting point; for narrow or specific angles, fixed cameras are better.

ColorVu: choose a ColorVu panoramic model for full-colour night vision across the whole scene.

Recorder: pair with a Hikvision NVR sized for the camera’s combined resolution.
