Ruijie Cloud is Ruijie's free, licence-free platform for setting up, monitoring and fixing Ruijie Reyee networks from a web browser or the Ruijie Reyee app. One account manages Reyee access points such as the RG-RAP62 and RG-RAP72, smart PoE switches such as the RG-ES209GC-P, managed switches, EG routers such as the RG-EG105GW-X, wireless bridges such as the RG-EST310V2 and Reyee home routers. Its self-organising network (SON) finds and configures Reyee devices for you, and AI tools plan, optimise and troubleshoot Wi-Fi. Ruijie says the management is free for the life of the product, with no licence or subscription.

Is Ruijie Cloud really free?
Yes. Ruijie lists "lifetime free cloud management & WIS optimization service" on its Reyee access points, switches, routers, bridges and home routers, and describes Ruijie Cloud as a centralised, licence-free platform. Its ten-year milestone page says Ruijie Cloud "remains free" and states the aim of making professional tools available "without license fees or high costs".
Ruijie defines "lifetime" as the lifespan of the product, subject to its end-of-life policies. In practice that means no annual management licence to budget for at EOFY, which matters most to installers looking after dozens of small Australian businesses.
What is SON (self-organising network)?
SON is how a Reyee network sets itself up. Ruijie introduced SON 1.0 with the launch of Ruijie Cloud in 2017; today the Ruijie Reyee app runs SON 2.0. Connect the Reyee router, switches and access points, open the app, and SON discovers the devices and configures them as one network instead of one box at a time. On its CCTV solution page Ruijie says SON can set up a whole network "within 150s".
Ruijie's Auto-Configured Network (ACN) builds on this for multi-VLAN networks: a wizard configures VLANs on all devices, applies the DHCP server and clients, lists every VLAN and its traffic, and lets you drag a subnet to isolate users. Ruijie claims a multi-VLAN network of around 100 switches and access points can be configured "in a coffee break". Separating staff, guest, CCTV and payment traffic into VLANs is good practice for any Australian business that handles card payments or customer records.

Ruijie Cloud for CCTV installers
Ruijie built much of Ruijie Cloud around camera networks, and its CCTV solution is pitched as managing projects "on a phone as you were onsite". The features that save site visits:
- IPC auto detection identifies the brand and model of connected cameras.
- PoE remote reboot and PoE watchdog: Ruijie says the two features "solve most of the CCTV issues", because a frozen camera is power-cycled from the app or automatically.
- Cable test finds the faulty cable run from the port to the failure point.
- NAT traversal lets you maintain NVRs and cameras remotely without opening ports on the customer's router.
- Long-distance mode carries PoE and data up to 250 m on supported smart switches (the port then runs at 10 Mbps full duplex).

AI Heatmap, AI Optimization and AI Diagnostics
Ruijie added practical AI tools to Ruijie Cloud from 2023. Ruijie's community voted these three the favourites:
- AI Heatmap is a free site-survey tool in Ruijie Cloud and the Ruijie Reyee app. Import a floor plan as an image, PDF or CAD (.dwg) file, enter the area and floor height, and it recognises the walls, places access points automatically and simulates Wi-Fi or CCTV coverage. Ruijie reports nearly 680,000 Wi-Fi projects designed with it in 2025.
- AI Optimization tunes Wi-Fi and guides roaming automatically; Ruijie says it ran more than 16 million times in 2025.
- AI Diagnostics / AI Troubleshooting checks internet connectivity, wired and wireless connections and device health with one click; Ruijie says it located 3.35 million faults in 2025.

Ruijie Cloud Pro and AnyLink SD-WAN
Ruijie Cloud Pro is Ruijie's AI-based platform for professional SME engineers. Ruijie lists seven core features: an IT health dashboard, Network HawkEye monitoring, AI Optimization, enterprise-grade SD-WAN, open API integration, customisable reports and flexible configuration. It is aimed at managed service providers and integrators who need reports for clients or integration with property-management or authentication systems. Talk to us about whether a project needs it.
AnyLink (Reyee SD-WAN) connects branches, retail chains and remote CCTV sites over multiple WAN links. Ruijie lists private-IP support (no public IP needed), zero-touch provisioning, one-click configuration across the network and a single dashboard with health detection and alarms. It runs on Reyee EG routers; see Reyee routers and gateways.
Things to check before you deploy
- Who owns the account. For a business customer, set up the Ruijie Cloud account in the business's name rather than an individual's personal login, so access survives a change of IT provider.
- Guest data. If the captive portal collects names, emails or phone numbers, your privacy policy should cover it under the Privacy Act. Ask us if your organisation has rules about where network data is held.
- Local access. Reyee routers also have their own web interface, so the network can still be checked on site if the internet is down.
