Professional Overview

The Ruijie RG-NBS3100-24GT4SFP-P-V2 is a high-performance 24-port Gigabit Layer 2 managed PoE+ switch, meticulously engineered to provide robust network connectivity with integrated power delivery, advanced control, and unparalleled flexibility for demanding small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise branch offices. Featuring twenty-four 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at/af) capabilities and a substantial total power budget of 370W, this switch is an ideal solution for powering a large array of high-bandwidth devices such as high-resolution IP cameras, numerous enterprise-grade wireless access points (APs), VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled equipment, significantly simplifying cabling and installation across extensive areas.

A critical advantage of the RG-NBS3100-24GT4SFP-P-V2 is its four dedicated 1000Mbps SFP ports. These Gigabit SFP uplinks provide versatile options for connecting to the core network, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), or other switches at high speeds, effectively preventing network bottlenecks and ensuring efficient data backhauling. The SFP ports specifically offer the benefit of supporting long-distance fiber optic connections, making it ideal for extending network reach across buildings or larger campuses, guaranteeing reliable data transmission without signal degradation and providing a resilient backbone for your network infrastructure.

As a full-featured Layer 2 managed switch, the RG-NBS3100-24GT4SFP-P-V2 empowers network administrators with comprehensive control over their infrastructure. It supports essential features like 802.1Q VLANs for efficient network segmentation, enhancing security and optimizing traffic flow by isolating different departments or applications. Quality of Service (QoS) ensures prioritization of critical data such as VoIP and video conferencing, guaranteeing smooth, uninterrupted performance for latency-sensitive applications. Furthermore, Link Aggregation (LACP) maximizes bandwidth and provides link redundancy, while Spanning Tree Protocol (STP/RSTP) prevents network loops, ensuring high availability and stability.

This switch also integrates seamlessly with Ruijie's innovative Cloud management capabilities. Through the intuitive Ruijie Cloud app or web platform, administrators can remotely monitor device status, configure settings, manage PoE power, and troubleshoot network issues from anywhere, at any time. This zero-touch provisioning and centralized management significantly simplify deployment and ongoing maintenance, reducing operational costs and the need for on-site IT presence. Its durable metal casing ensures superior heat dissipation and longevity, while an intelligent fan design maintains optimal cooling without excessive noise.

With a robust switching capacity of 56 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 41.67 Mpps, the Ruijie RG-NBS3100-24GT4SFP-P-V2 efficiently handles high-volume network traffic, minimizing latency and packet loss. This combination of extensive Gigabit PoE+ capabilities, versatile fiber uplinks, advanced Layer 2 management, intelligent cloud control, and robust construction makes it an outstanding and future-proof networking solution for modern businesses and complex residential applications demanding high-capacity, reliable connectivity, and efficient power delivery.
