Ruijie Cloud — Free Cloud Management for Reyee Networks

Ruijie Cloud is the free management platform behind every Reyee switch, access point, gateway and bridge. No controller to buy, no per-device licence, no subscription — you claim the hardware, and the whole site appears in one dashboard you can reach from anywhere.

What it is

One dashboard for every Reyee device you install

Ruijie Cloud is a hosted network management platform. Every device in the Reyee range reports into it — switches, access points, gateways and wireless bridges — and you manage them from a browser or the Ruijie Reyee phone app. Unlike controller-based systems, there is no appliance to buy and install at each site, and unlike most cloud platforms there is no ongoing licence: management is included for the life of the hardware.

For an installer or a multi-site operator that is the whole point. A caravan park, a retail chain or a group of schools can sit in one account, with every site visible side by side, and a fault at any of them can be diagnosed without a truck roll.

What you can do with it

Ruijie Cloud features

CapabilityWhat it means on site
Zero-touch provisioningPre-configure a site in the cloud, ship the hardware, and it pulls its configuration the moment it gets internet. No engineer needs to be on site to set it up.
Whole-network topologyA live map showing which AP hangs off which switch port, so you can see what a failed port takes down before you touch it.
Remote firmware managementPush firmware to one device or a whole site on a schedule, across every site in the account.
IP camera recognitionOn the ES CCTV switch range, attached cameras are identified and listed by device rather than by port number.
PoE watchdogThe switch pings each powered device and automatically power-cycles the port when one stops responding — the usual fix for a frozen camera, without a site visit.
Guest Wi-Fi and authenticationCaptive portal, voucher and third-party authentication on the EG gateway range, configured centrally.
Alerts and reportingEmail and app alerts on device offline, port errors and PoE faults, plus traffic and client reporting per site.
Multi-site accounts and delegationGroup sites under one account and give a customer read-only access to their own site without exposing the rest.
Getting started

How to set up Ruijie Cloud

1. Create the account

Sign up free at ruijienetworks.com or in the Ruijie Reyee app (iOS and Android). One account can hold as many sites as you need.

2. Create the site (project)

Add a site for the physical location and set its country to Australia — this is what applies the correct ACMA channel and transmit-power limits to the wireless devices. Getting this wrong is the single most common setup mistake.

3. Add the hardware

Scan the QR code on each device with the app, or enter serial numbers in the browser. Devices need outbound internet access; there is nothing to port-forward.

4. Configure before it arrives, if you like

SSIDs, VLANs, PoE settings and port profiles can all be set on the cloud project before the hardware ships, so it self-configures on power-up.

5. Hand over

Give the end customer their own read-only or limited login so they can see their network without being able to break it.

FAQ

Ruijie Cloud — common questions

Is Ruijie Cloud free?
Yes. Ruijie Cloud management is free for the life of the hardware. There is no subscription, no per-device licence and no controller appliance to purchase. This is one of the main cost differences against controller or licence-based alternatives.
Do I need a controller or hardware licence for Reyee?
No. Reyee devices connect straight to Ruijie Cloud over the internet, so there is no on-site controller. Ruijie does sell hardware wireless LAN controllers such as the RG-WS6512-L for large campus networks that require on-premises control, but the Reyee SMB range does not need one.
Does Ruijie Cloud work in Australia?
Yes. When you create a site in Ruijie Cloud you set its country to Australia, which applies the correct ACMA channel plan and transmit-power limits to the wireless devices. Setting the wrong country is the most common configuration mistake we see.
What happens to my network if the internet goes down?
The network keeps running. Ruijie Cloud is a management plane, not the data path — switching, routing and Wi-Fi all continue on the local hardware with their existing configuration. You lose remote visibility and the ability to push changes until the link is back.
Can I manage several customer sites from one login?
Yes. One Ruijie Cloud account can hold many sites and group them, which is how installers and managed service providers use it. You can also give each end customer their own limited login to just their site.
Does Ruijie Cloud manage third-party devices?
No — it manages Ruijie and Reyee hardware. However, features that act on connected equipment, such as IP camera recognition and PoE watchdog on the CCTV switch range, work with third-party ONVIF cameras plugged into a Ruijie switch.
Is there a Ruijie Cloud app?
Yes, the Ruijie Reyee app for iOS and Android. Most installers use the app for the initial QR-code onboarding and the browser dashboard for detailed configuration.
Where do I buy Ruijie Cloud managed hardware in Australia?
From ARC IP Networks. ARC IP Networks is an authorised Australian Ruijie reseller and holds the Reyee switch, access point, gateway and bridge ranges as genuine Australian stock with the full manufacturer’s warranty. Browse the full Ruijie range.
