Overview

The ARC-PCD-4A is an outdoor Fibre Access Terminal (FAT) — the rugged distribution point in an FTTx network where the feeder cable is terminated and connected out to as many as four drop cables. It integrates fibre splicing, splitting, distribution, slack storage and cable connection in one solid, weather-sealed box.

Built from PC+ABS with an IP-68 waterproof and dust-tight rating, the ARC-PCD-4A is designed to live outdoors — on a pole or a wall — through rain, sun and dust. Inside, a splice cassette and cable-management rods keep the fibre bend radius above 40 mm to protect the glass and preserve signal, while the housing accepts an optional 1×4 PLC splitter to fan a single feeder out to four subscribers.

With capacity for 4 SC or 8 LC adapters, four sealed drop-cable entrances, and support for both fusion and mechanical splicing, the ARC-PCD-4A is a versatile, easily-maintained access terminal for last-mile fibre rollouts, MDUs and distributed deployments.
