Yealink products bought from ARC IP Networks in Australia are covered two ways: by Yealink's manufacturer's warranty (the period is shown on each product page; many meeting-room devices carry two years, and extended AMS cover is available on selected models) and by the Australian Consumer Law guarantees, which apply on top and cannot be excluded. To claim, contact ARC IP Networks first and we handle the assessment and any manufacturer return for you.
ARC IP Networks is a trusted Yealink supplier in Australia: genuine Yealink stock with the full manufacturer's warranty, delivered Australia-wide at competitive prices, with local pre-sales help for businesses, installers and IT providers.
Two layers of protection
1. Australian Consumer Law guarantees
Every product sold by ARC IP Networks comes with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If a Yealink product is faulty, not of acceptable quality or does not do what it was advertised to do, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the ACL. These rights sit alongside the manufacturer's warranty and cannot be excluded by any seller.
2. Yealink manufacturer's warranty
Yealink warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated for each product; check the warranty line on the product page when you order. Because ARC IP Networks sources through Yealink's authorised Australian distribution, every unit is eligible for that warranty in Australia. Grey-import units bought from overseas sellers often are not.
Extended cover
For meeting-room and video devices, Yealink offers AMS extended warranty uplifts of one, two or three years on selected models, including the WPP30, UVC34, UVC86, SmartVision 40 and VCM35. We can add the uplift to the quote for rooms that need longer cover.
What is and is not covered
| Covered | Usually not covered |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing defects in the phone, base, headset or bar | Physical damage: drops, cracked screens, crushed cables |
| Faults that develop in normal use within the warranty period | Liquid damage and corrosion |
| Dead-on-arrival units (report within 14 days of delivery) | Damage from unapproved power supplies or incorrect PoE |
| Firmware faults that Yealink acknowledges | Modified or unofficial firmware, opened cases |
| Batteries and handsets that fail prematurely | Normal wear on consumables: ear cushions, battery capacity over years, cables |
Final determination of any claim rests with Yealink's warranty terms and the Australian Consumer Law.
How to make a Yealink warranty claim in Australia
- Contact ARC IP Networks first at info@arcip.com.au or 1300 100 440 with your order number, the product model and serial number, and a description of the fault.
- Quick checks. We may ask you to confirm firmware, power (PoE or adapter) and provisioning, because many "faults" are configuration. This usually takes one email exchange.
- Dead on arrival. If the unit arrived faulty or damaged, report it within 14 days of delivery and we arrange assessment and a replacement or refund.
- Warranty fault after 14 days. We assess the issue and coordinate the return with Yealink's Australian distributor or service process, arranging a manufacturer RMA where required, and manage the process until the repaired or replacement unit reaches you.
- Keep your invoice. The GST tax invoice from ARC IP Networks is your proof of purchase and warranty start date.
Full details are in our Warranty & Support and Returns Policy pages.
Change of mind and non-faulty returns
Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery, with the product unused, unopened, in its original packaging and with all accessories. Some items, such as special-order products, are excluded, and a restocking fee may apply; see the Returns Policy. None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods.
Keeping Yealink gear out of the warranty queue
- Power phones from a PoE switch or the Yealink adapter supplied, not a generic plug pack.
- Let your provider push firmware; avoid loading firmware from unofficial sources.
- Keep DECT bases and headset bases away from metal cabinets and heat.
- Replace ear cushions and handset batteries as consumables; both are available as Yealink spares.
