Why the CTP25 is one cable
The CTP25 connects to the bar's VCH port with a single Cat5e cable that carries power and data, so the table needs no power point. Its USB-C port then charges a laptop at up to 65 W and carries 4K content into the meeting, which is why most Teams Rooms deployments pick a 031 bundle.
When to add the VCH51 Pro
If the room has a CTP18 (no USB-C sharing), if guests need HDMI, or if you want a dedicated BYOD cable so a laptop can run its own Teams or Zoom meeting on the room's camera and microphones, add the VCH51 Pro. For cable-free sharing, the WPP30 pod is the alternative; see our WPP30 guide.
