The PowerShield Ninja Slimline 600VA (PSLN600) is a standby UPS rated 600 VA / 360 W in a 42 mm slimline design with 2 x IEC outlets. It delivers a simulated sine wave output on battery. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.

ARC IP Networks supplies the genuine PowerShield PSLN600 in Australia with the full PowerShield Australian warranty (5 years on both the electronics and the LiFePO4 battery) and Australia-wide delivery.

PowerShield Ninja Slimline 600VA overview

The Ninja Slimline is a 42 mm thin standby UPS designed for Australian conditions. It operates from 0 to 50 °C, and PowerShield states its lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery runs continuously at up to 45 °C without reducing battery life and offers up to 10 years of operation. The PSLN600 is rated 600 VA / 360 W with 2 IEC outlets, a simulated sine wave output on battery and a 6 ms typical transfer time.

It mounts vertically on walls or on a DIN rail inside electrical panels, and its fanless design runs silently (under 40 dB) with less heat. PowerShield lists it for electrical boards, irrigation and reticulation panels, switchboards, intelligent homes, lightboards, menuboards and anywhere else that needs compact backup power. The UPS restarts automatically when AC returns.

Monitoring

An RS-232 port provides communication and power for PowerShield's optional external Web/SNMP card (PSECMB), and the PSEMD environmental monitoring device can be added through that card. NetGuard software is a free download.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about the PowerShield PSLN600 from the ARC IP Networks team. Last reviewed October 2026.

The PSLN600 is the PowerShield Ninja Slimline 600VA standby UPS, rated 600 VA / 360 W with 2 x IEC outlets.

No. The PSLN600 is a standby UPS: it supplies mains power directly and switches to battery in 6 ms (typical) when mains fails.

No. The PSLN600 outputs a simulated sine wave in battery mode. For equipment that needs a pure sine wave, such as some active PFC power supplies, motors and gate controllers, choose a Commander or Centurion model.

About 30 minutes at 100 VA (70 W) and 12 minutes at 300 VA (210 W) with the UPS alone, per PowerShield's runtime chart. Real runtime varies with temperature and battery age.

Up to 360 W and 600 VA. PowerShield suggests adding up the watts of the equipment you want to protect and dividing by 0.7 to get the VA rating the UPS must exceed, then allowing headroom for runtime.
