VQC

VQC (Video Quality Catalyst) is Jovision's in-house image-processing engine. It combines DWDR (digital wide dynamic range) and 3DNR (3D noise reduction) with fine-tuning of sharpness, gamma, contrast and highlight compensation to produce clean, balanced full-colour video with less noise and glare across the bright and dark areas of the same scene.

  • DWDR balances bright and dark areas of a scene
  • 3DNR removes noise for cleaner footage
  • Optimised sharpness, gamma, contrast and HLC
  • Richer, more natural full-colour video

What is Jovision VQC?

VQC (Video Quality Catalyst) is Jovision’s core image-quality engine. It tunes DWDR and 3D noise reduction and optimises sharpness, gamma, contrast and HLC to deliver clean, natural, full-colour video.

VQC is the foundation Jovision’s full-colour ColorNext cameras are built on. By balancing bright and dark areas of a scene and cutting image noise, it produces clearer footage in mixed and difficult lighting.
