ColorNext is Jovision's full-colour night-vision series. Using large-aperture lenses, high-sensitivity sensors and built-in warm LEDs, ColorNext cameras capture vivid, true-colour footage around the clock — even in near-darkness where ordinary cameras fall back to black-and-white infrared. ColorNext Pro pushes low-light performance even further for the most demanding scenes.

What is Jovision ColorNext?

Jovision ColorNext is a full-colour night-vision technology: a series of cameras built on Jovision’s VQC image engine and warm-light LEDs that capture footage in full colour 24/7 — including at night — instead of switching to black-and-white infrared.

Traditional cameras drop to grey infrared after dark, so you lose colour detail like clothing and vehicle colours. ColorNext keeps the picture bright and in full colour, making people and vehicles far easier to identify at night. ColorNext Pro is tuned for the toughest low-light scenes.

It captures full-colour video around the clock, so at night you see actual colours — clothing, vehicles, skin tones — rather than a black-and-white infrared image.

It combines a high-sensitivity image sensor, warm-light LEDs and Jovision’s VQC image processing to keep the picture bright and in colour even in very low light.

For identifying detail such as clothing or vehicle colour, yes — infrared is black-and-white, while ColorNext keeps colour. Infrared can still see in total darkness where there is no light at all.
