What is Jovision SCB?

SCB (Smart Codec Boostering) is Jovision’s XVR technology that boosts the recorder’s processing so it can take more cameras than its base channel count — for example, a 4-channel XVR can run 4 analogue cameras plus 12 IP cameras (16 total).

SCB is the low-cost way to modernise a legacy system: keep your existing analogue cameras and coax cabling, and add modern AI IP cameras on top without re-wiring the building.
