The HiLook IPC-T363H-MU (4 mm) is a 6 MP AI turret from the HiLook Pro line. Its F1.2 lens gathers roughly five times more light than the usual F1.6, dropping usable low-light sensitivity to 0.001 lux, and it sees far wider — 119.6° on the 2.8 mm. Note this -MU version has no microSD slot. It belongs to the HiLook Pro range — a faster F1.2 lens and a much wider view, though the -MU version has no microSD slot.

Why choose the IPC-T363H-MU (4 mm)

The HiLook IPC-T363H-MU (4 mm) trades on optics. The F1.2 aperture and 119.6° horizontal field of view are a real step up from the Value-line T361H (F1.6, 105°) — one camera can often cover a corner that would otherwise take two, and dim car parks or laneways stay usable much later into the evening. The trade is real and worth knowing before you buy: the -MU model has no microSD card slot, so it must record to an NVR, and it runs at 20 fps rather than 25. Supplied and supported by ARC IP Networks with genuine Australian stock, Australian warranty and local support.

Best for

  • Outdoor perimeters and entries: IP67 housing, 30 m infrared and 120 dB WDR for backlit doorways.
  • Sites plagued by false alerts: on-camera AI separates people and vehicles from animals, rain and moving foliage.
  • Budget-conscious upgrades: HiLook pricing on a standard 802.3af PoE switch, no licences.
  • Wide corners and dim areas: F1.2 and a 119.6° view cover ground an F1.6 camera cannot — records to an NVR (no card slot).

Who it’s for

Small business

Shopfronts, yards and rear entries on a modest budget.

Residential

Driveways, side gates and back gardens with fewer nuisance alerts.

Warehouses & yards

Loading docks and fence lines, with vehicle classification.

Installers

Standard PoE, ONVIF conformant, no per-camera licensing.

Professional Overview

The HiLook by Hikvision IPC-T363H-MU is an advanced 6MP AI turret IP camera, meticulously engineered for high-performance surveillance in diverse environments. Boasting a 6-megapixel resolution and a 1/2.4" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, this camera delivers exceptionally clear and detailed images, crucial for precise identification and monitoring where every detail matters. Its 4mm fixed lens provides a focused field of view, making it ideal for monitoring specific areas with excellent clarity.

At its core, the IPC-T363H-MU incorporates intelligent detection capabilities, including human and vehicle classification based on deep learning. This deep-learning AI functionality significantly reduces false alarms triggered by environmental factors, ensuring that security alerts are highly relevant and actionable, streamlining monitoring efforts. The integrated smart supplement light mode dynamically adjusts illumination, providing optimal visibility while conserving energy. Furthermore, the built-in microphone ensures real-time audio security, adding a vital layer of acoustic information for enhanced situational awareness and evidence collection.

Designed to perform reliably in challenging conditions, this camera supports efficient H.265+ compression technology, which drastically minimizes bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising video quality, making it a cost-effective solution for long-term recording. Its robust full metal housing ensures exceptional durability, while the IP67 rating guarantees complete protection against dust and water ingress, making it perfectly suited for harsh outdoor environments.

With an IR night vision range of up to 30 meters, the IPC-T363H-MU provides continuous and clear monitoring even in total darkness. This turret camera is an ideal security solution for residential properties, small businesses, and commercial sites that require a dependable, high-resolution surveillance system with intelligent detection, integrated audio, and maximum resilience against environmental factors. It seamlessly integrates into existing HiLook or Hikvision NVR systems, offering a powerful and comprehensive security solution for proactive protection with a focused 4mm lens.

How it compares

All four are 30 m infrared IP67 turrets with 120 dB WDR, on-camera AI and standard 802.3af PoE. The real choice is between the Value models (microSD slot, higher frame rate) and the Pro models (faster F1.2 lens, much wider view, but no card slot).

Complete your system

Every HiLook IP camera records to a network video recorder (NVR), which also powers the camera over PoE. This model runs on standard 802.3af PoE, so any HiLook or Hikvision NVR PoE port or standard PoE switch will run it. Choose a recorder with enough channels for the whole site.

Works with your system

Smart storage & bandwidth. H.265+ compression cuts storage and bandwidth substantially against older H.264 systems — fewer drives, longer retention, less network load.

HiLook & Hikvision NVRs

Plug-and-play over PoE, with AI event search on a supporting recorder.

Hik-Connect app

Live view, playback and push notifications on iOS & Android.

iVMS-4200

Free desktop software for multi-camera management.

ONVIF conformant

ONVIF Profile S, T — integrates with compatible third-party NVRs and VMS.

Frequently asked questions

Infrared reaches up to 30 m using 850 nm LEDs. The camera gives full colour by day and switches to black-and-white infrared at night.

No. This model uses infrared, so night footage is black-and-white. For 24/7 full-colour imaging you need a white-light camera such as the HiLook Hi-Color series.

No. The IPC-T363H-MU (4 mm) has a built-in microphone only — it records audio alongside video, but there is no speaker and no audio output, so two-way talk is not supported.

No. This -MU version has no microSD card slot, so it must record to an NVR or compatible VMS. If you need on-board recording, choose a Value-line HiLook model instead.

PoE (802.3af, Class 3), max 6.5 W — or 12 V DC, 5 W. It runs from any standard PoE switch or a HiLook or Hikvision NVR PoE port.

It is ONVIF conformant (ONVIF Profile S, T) and works plug-and-play with HiLook and Hikvision NVRs. AI human and vehicle event search requires a recorder that supports it.

Yes. The housing is rated IP67 for dust and water and it operates from −30 °C to 60 °C. No vandal (IK) rating is published for this model.
