The Hikvision DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC is a 6 MP DeepinView indoor fisheye (2560 × 2560, 1.16 mm, 180° × 180°) that covers a whole room from one point. It runs people counting, queue management, heat maps and intersection analysis on board, dewarps into 20 display modes, and has 4 built-in microphones. It has no infrared. Part of the Hikvision panoramic range.

Why choose the DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC

A fisheye replaces several fixed cameras with one: the DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC sees 180° × 180° through a 1.16 mm lens onto a large 1/1.8″ 6 MP sensor, giving a full overhead view of a shop floor, lobby or office. Unlike a plain fisheye, it is a DeepinView camera with 2 TOPS of on-board deep learning: it counts people entering, exiting and passing by, measures queue length and waiting time, builds space and time heat maps, and analyses flow through an intersection of up to 10 ways. The camera itself can output dewarped 4PTZ, panorama and fisheye + 3PTZ streams, so any recorder sees ready-to-use views. Four built-in microphones with environmental noise filtering add audio, and 2 alarm inputs and outputs tie it into the rest of the site. Supplied and supported by ARC IP Networks with genuine Australian stock.

Indoor camera without infrared: the DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC is rated for −10 °C to 40 °C, has no published IP rating and no IR illuminator. For outdoor or dark areas choose the IR models, the DS-2CD6395G1E-IVS or DS-2CD63C5G1-IVS.

Best for

  • Counting visitors: separate in, out and passing-by counts with daily to annual email reports.
  • Managing queues: regional queue length and waiting-time detection with threshold alarms and exportable raw data.
  • Store layout decisions: space heat maps and time heat-map charts show where people go and dwell.
  • One camera per room: 180° × 180° coverage replaces several fixed cameras in lobbies, offices and shop floors.
  • Audio-aware spaces: 4 built-in microphones with noise filtering and audio-exception detection.

Specifications from the official Hikvision datasheet for the DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC. Range and DORI figures are Hikvision reference values and vary with environment.

Professional Overview

The Hikvision DS-2CD6365G1-S/RC is a 6 MP DeepinView network fisheye camera for indoor spaces. A 1/1.8″ sensor at 2560 × 2560 and a 1.16 mm lens deliver a 180° × 180° view, so a single camera covers an entire room, sales floor or lobby. It suits wall, table or ceiling mounting.

Twenty display modes let you view the scene as a raw fisheye or dewarped into normal-looking images. The camera can dewarp in hardware and stream fisheye, 180° panorama, 180° dual-channel panorama, panorama, 4PTZ, fisheye + 3PTZ and 4PTZ fusion views directly, while compatible client software offers further modes such as hemisphere, cylinder and 360° panorama with up to 8 virtual PTZ windows.

Its value is in the analytics. With 2 TOPS of on-board deep learning it counts people entering, exiting and passing by, manages queues with length and waiting-time detection, produces space and time heat maps, and analyses flow through intersections of up to 10 ways. Standard smart events include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, region exiting, scene change, audio exception, defocus, unattended baggage and object removal detection. Four built-in microphones, a line in and line out, 2 alarm inputs and 2 outputs, and SIP support round out the I/O.

It runs on 802.3af PoE (max 8 W) or 12 VDC, connects at Gigabit speed, records to microSD up to 256 GB and integrates via ONVIF Profile S/G/T, ISAPI and ISUP. It is an indoor camera (−10 °C to 40 °C) with no infrared illuminator. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.

Complete your system

Every Hikvision IP camera records to a network video recorder (NVR) or VMS. This fisheye draws a maximum of 8 W on 802.3af PoE (or 12 VDC), so any 802.3af PoE NVR port or switch can power it — for example the DS-7608NI-M2/8P 8-channel PoE NVR, or the DS-3E1309P-EI PoE switch for larger installs. Because the camera can output dewarped views itself, the recorder simply records the streams you choose.

Browse Hikvision NVRs →

Works with your system

Dewarped at the source. The camera can stream panorama, 4PTZ or fisheye + 3PTZ views itself, so your recorder stores ready-to-review images, and H.265+ keeps storage and bandwidth in check.

Hikvision NVRs

Record the camera’s fisheye or camera-dewarped streams; PoE NVRs power it over one cable.

iVMS-4200

Free Hikvision desktop client listed in the datasheet, with software dewarping for live view and playback.

Hik-Connect

Remote viewing and notifications on iOS and Android.

ONVIF Profile S, G & T

Integrates with compatible third-party NVRs and VMS platforms.

SIP / VoIP

Session Initiation Protocol support for peer-to-peer or SIP/PBX integration.

HEOP 2.0 open platform

2 TOPS of on-camera compute for third-party apps (Caffe, TensorFlow, PyTorch; C/C++).

Frequently asked questions

It is a Hikvision 6 MP DeepinView network fisheye camera with a 1.16 mm lens giving a 180° × 180° view at up to 2560 × 2560, designed for indoor use.

No. This model has no IR illuminator; it relies on ambient light (0.01 lux colour, 0.005 lux B/W). For dark areas choose the DS-2CD6395G1E-IVS or DS-2CD63C5G1-IVS, which have 15 m IR.

20 display modes in total. The camera can dewarp in hardware to fisheye, 180° panorama, 180° dual-channel panorama, panorama, 4PTZ, fisheye + 3PTZ and 4PTZ fusion. Software dewarping in compatible clients adds modes such as 360° panorama with up to 8 PTZ windows, hemisphere, AR hemisphere and cylinder.

Yes. It counts people entering, exiting and passing by separately, sends daily to annual email reports, and supports queue-length and waiting-time detection with threshold alarms. It also produces heat maps and intersection-flow analysis.

Yes. It has 4 built-in microphones with environmental noise filtering, plus a 3.5 mm line in and line out. It has no built-in speaker.

No. It is rated for −10 °C to 40 °C and has no published IP rating, so it is intended for indoor installation.

By standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af, class 3) at a maximum of 8 W, or by 12 VDC at a maximum of 7 W.

Any Hikvision PoE NVR with an 802.3af port, such as the DS-7608NI-M2/8P, can power and record it. It also supports ONVIF Profile S/G/T for compatible third-party systems.
