Features

  • Stadium-grade outdoor enterprise WiFi 7 access point engineered for the highest-density public venues — sports arenas, concert halls, transit hubs, exhibition centres and large outdoor gatherings.
  • 12 spatial streams: 4×4 MU-MIMO on 6 GHz low band, 4×4 on 6 GHz high band and 4×4 on 5 GHz — both 6 GHz radios deliver 11.5 Gbps each at 320 MHz channel widths.
  • Internal directional antennas: high-gain 15 dBi 50°×50° patterns plus 11 dBi 90°×90° patterns — designed to sectorise tribunes, plazas and aisles with predictable coverage.
  • Designed for 1,500+ concurrent clients across roughly 465 m² (5,000 ft²) of dense outdoor coverage per AP.
  • 10 GbE primary RJ45 uplink + redundant 1 GbE secondary port for high-availability deployments; single-cable PoE++ installation up to 51W consumption.
  • Tx power up to 30 dBm on every radio (36 dBm EIRP on 6 GHz) for true outdoor reach.
  • IP68 fully sealed enclosure with UV-stabilised polycarbonate and aluminium alloy construction; -40 to 60 °C ambient operating temperature.
  • Wind loading rated to 164.75 N at 200 km/h — survives extreme outdoor conditions.
  • Wall and pole mounts included (pole diameter 25–76 mm); VESA mount optional.
  • Backwards compatible with WiFi 6, WiFi 5 and 802.11n clients; up to 8 BSSIDs per radio for SSID-rich tenancies.
  • Centrally managed through UniFi Network 9.2.87+ — no per-AP licensing, full RF planning, fast roaming and rogue AP detection.
  • Certifications: FCC, IC.

Professional Overview

The UniFi E7 Audience is Ubiquiti's outdoor stadium-class WiFi 7 access point — purpose-built for the densest public environments: sports tribunes, concert seating bowls, transit interchanges, exhibition halls, university quads and large outdoor events. Unlike standard omnidirectional ceiling APs, the E7 Audience uses internal directional antenna patterns (15 dBi at 50° × 50° and 11 dBi at 90° × 90°) so coverage can be sectorised — one AP illuminates a defined tribune wedge or aisle without spilling into neighbouring cells, which is the only way to deliver predictable throughput in a 10,000-seat arena.

The radio architecture is 12-stream and split-band: two separate 6 GHz radios (Low and High band, each 4×4 MU-MIMO at 11.5 Gbps over a 320 MHz channel) plus a 4×4 5 GHz radio at 8.6 Gbps (240 MHz). 2.4 GHz is intentionally omitted — it is unusable at this density. With Tx power up to 30 dBm per radio (36 dBm EIRP on 6 GHz, where permitted) and up to 8 BSSIDs per radio, a single E7 Audience handles 1,500+ concurrent clients across approximately 465 m² of high-throughput coverage. Backwards compatibility extends to 802.11ax, ac and n so older devices in a mixed crowd are not orphaned.

On the wired side, the E7 Audience pairs a primary 10 GbE RJ45 uplink with a redundant 1 GbE port — so a single switch port or fibre run failure does not blackout an entire seating section during an event. PoE++ (802.3bt, 42.5–57V DC, up to 51W) supplies the AP over the same cable. Mounting hardware for wall and pole installation (25–76 mm pole diameters) is included in the box, and a VESA option is available for fixed structural attachment.

For outdoor use, the enclosure is fully sealed to IP68, built from UV-stabilised polycarbonate over an aluminium-alloy chassis and rated for -40 to 60 °C ambient operation and 5–95% non-condensing humidity. Wind loading of 164.75 N at 200 km/h confirms its suitability for fully exposed installations on rooftops and floodlight columns. Management is entirely through UniFi Network 9.2.87 or later — no per-AP licence, no controller subscription, full RF planning, fast roaming, RADIUS and rogue AP detection. Certifications cover FCC and IC. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
