Why choose the DS-DM1940W

The Hikvision DS-DM1940W gets a CCTV monitor off the desk and onto the wall. It is a solid cold-rolled steel (SPCC) bracket that Hikvision designs to stop the screen bending or twisting, and at only 25 mm deep it keeps the monitor close to the wall for a tidy, low-profile finish. The mounting pattern is VESA 200 × 200 mm, and Hikvision’s own datasheets list it as the optional wall bracket for the DS-D5024F2-BV2S 23.8-inch and DS-D5032F3-1V0S 32-inch monitors. Installation is quick — fix the wall plate, attach the arms to the monitor, then hang it. Supplied by ARC IP Networks with genuine Australian stock and local support.

Check before you buy: the datasheet specifies a VESA 200 × 200 mm pattern and does not publish a maximum screen size or load rating. Confirm your monitor’s VESA pattern and weight, and fix the bracket to a wall that can carry the load.

Best for

  • Hikvision CCTV monitors: listed by Hikvision as the optional bracket for the DS-D5024F2-BV2S and DS-D5032F3-1V0S.
  • VESA 200 × 200 mm screens: matches the mounting pattern on the back of the monitor.
  • Low-profile installs: only 25 mm deep, so the screen sits close to the wall.
  • Reception and counter walls: frees up desk space for staff.
  • Public-view monitors: puts the screen up where customers can see it.

Professional Overview

The Hikvision DS-DM1940W is a wall-mounted bracket for LCD monitors, made from cold-rolled SPCC steel in a black finish. It is part of Hikvision’s monitor accessory range and is designed around a solid steel structure that stops the screen bending or twisting once mounted.

Its mounting pattern is VESA 200 (H) × 200 (V) mm. The bracket measures 250 × 220 mm and only 25 mm deep, so the monitor sits close to the wall — a neat finish for reception desks, counters and public-view positions where a protruding arm would get knocked.

Hikvision lists the DS-DM1940W as the optional wall bracket for its 23.8-inch DS-D5024F2-BV2S and 32-inch DS-D5032F3-1V0S monitors. For other screens, match the VESA pattern on the back of the monitor and check its weight, as Hikvision does not publish a maximum screen size or load rating for this bracket.

Installation is straightforward: fix the wall plate level to a solid wall with fixings that suit the substrate, attach the arms to the monitor’s VESA holes, then hang the monitor. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.

Which Hikvision monitors it suits

Hikvision publishes the bracket’s pattern as VESA 200 × 200 mm. The table shows the VESA pattern of each Hikvision monitor we stock and what Hikvision’s own documentation says.

Complete your system

A wall-mounted monitor works best with the recorder close by. Pair it with a Hikvision monitor and an NVR, and run HDMI from the recorder to the screen.

Frequently asked questions

Hikvision specifies VESA 200 (H) × 200 (V) mm. Check the hole spacing on the back of your monitor before ordering.

Hikvision’s datasheets list it as the optional wall bracket for the DS-D5024F2-BV2S (23.8-inch) and DS-D5032F3-1V0S (32-inch) monitors.

The 43-inch monitor uses the same VESA 200 × 200 mm pattern. Hikvision pairs that monitor with its larger DS-DM4255W bracket, and does not publish a load rating for the DS-DM1940W, so check the monitor’s 6.85 kg weight against your wall and fixings.

Cold-rolled steel plate (SPCC) in black, with a solid structure that stops the screen bending or twisting.

The bracket is 25 mm deep (250 × 220 × 25 mm), so the screen sits close to the wall.

Hikvision describes it as a wall-mounted bracket and does not list tilt or swivel adjustment. If you need an adjustable arm, choose a tilting or articulating mount.

The bracket weighs 0.75 ± 0.5 kg net, 0.83 ± 0.5 kg packed.
