Why choose the DS-2CE19H8T-AIT3ZF

The DS-2CE19H8T-AIT3ZF is built for perimeters, gates and car parks where you need reach as well as resolution. The motorised 2.7–13.5 mm lens zooms from a wide 92.3° view to a tight 29.3° and focuses automatically, so the view can be set or changed from the DVR without a ladder. EXIR 2.0 infrared reaches 80 m, the F1.38 lens captures colour down to 0.003 lux, and 130 dB true WDR copes with headlights and low sun. Dual-voltage power (12 V DC or 24 V AC) makes it an easy swap on older sites with AC camera supplies. Supplied by ARC IP Networks from Australian stock with local support.

Before you order — this is an analog camera. It sends video over coaxial cable and needs a Turbo HD / HD-TVI DVR. It will not work with an NVR, and it has no Ethernet port and no PoE. Any Hikvision Turbo HD DVR that accepts 5 MP TVI input will record it at full resolution. Not sure what you have? Ask us and we will check.

Best for

  • Long driveways and boundaries: zoom in to 13.5 mm and light the scene with 80 m infrared.
  • Gates and vehicle entries: frame the approach tightly for better detail on people and vehicles.
  • Retrofitting AC-powered sites: 24 V AC input means no new power supply on many older installs.
  • Cameras at height: adjust zoom and focus remotely instead of re-aiming by hand.
  • Mixed-brand recorders: 4-in-1 output works with TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS systems.

DS-2CE19H8T-AIT3ZF overview

5 MP Ultra Low Light Motorised Varifocal Bullet Camera — 2.7–13.5 mm, EXIR 2.0 80 m, 4-in-1 output

The Hikvision DS-2CE19H8T-AIT3ZF is a Value Series Turbo HD bullet camera with a 5 MP CMOS sensor (2560 × 1944). Over HD-TVI it delivers 5 MP at 20 fps, or 4 MP and 2 MP at 25/30 fps; AHD supports 5 MP at 20 fps, CVI supports 4 MP, and CVBS is available for legacy recorders. In the model number, A denotes dual-voltage power and Z the motorised lens.

Its 2.7–13.5 mm motorised varifocal lens gives a horizontal field of view from 92.3° at the wide end to 29.3° at full zoom, and the lens focuses automatically as it zooms. Zoom is controlled from the DVR through the HIKVISION-C up-the-coax menu, which also gives access to brightness, sharpness, mirror, Smart IR and AGC settings.

For night work, EXIR 2.0 infrared reaches up to 80 m with smart supplement light control to avoid over-exposing close subjects. With an F1.38 aperture, the camera holds colour down to 0.003 lux (AGC on) before the IR cut filter switches to black-and-white. ≥130 dB true WDR and BLC handle backlit scenes, 3D DNR cleans up noise, and four privacy masks and four motion areas are configurable.

The all-metal housing is IP67 rated and operates from −40 °C to 60 °C. It accepts 9.6–14.4 V DC or 19.2–28.8 V AC (12 V DC or 24 V AC ±20%), drawing up to 10.5 W. The bracket allows pan 360°, tilt 90° and rotate 360°, and Hikvision offers an optional junction box, corner mount and pole mounts for a neat installation.

Specifications from each model’s official Hikvision datasheet. None of these models has a microphone or on-camera AI. All require a Turbo HD DVR.

Complete your system

This camera records to a Turbo HD / HD-TVI DVR over coaxial cable and needs a 12 V DC or 24 V AC supply at the camera. Hikvision AcuSense DVRs such as the iDS-7204HUHI-M2/S (4-channel), iDS-7208HUHI-M2/S (8-channel) and iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT (16-channel) accept 5 MP HD-TVI input and add human/vehicle classification at the recorder.

Works with your system

Analog or IP? Turbo HD gives you remote-zoom 5 MP over coaxial cable that is already installed. A brand-new installation is generally better served by IP cameras, which add on-camera AI, audio and single-cable PoE power.

Turbo HD DVRs

Required — this camera cannot connect to an NVR.

Existing coax cabling

Reuse what is already installed in most cases.

4-in-1 output

TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS — suits most analog recorders.

12 V DC or 24 V AC

Use the supply already at the camera position.

Up-the-coax control

Zoom, focus and menu settings from the DVR.

Hik-Connect

Remote viewing through a compatible Hikvision DVR.

Frequently asked questions

No. This is an analog (Turbo HD) camera — it sends video over coaxial cable, not Ethernet, and needs a Turbo HD / HD-TVI DVR. NVRs record IP cameras over a network and cannot accept a coax signal.

It lets you set zoom remotely from the DVR across 2.7–13.5 mm (92.3° to 29.3° horizontal), and the lens focuses automatically as it zooms. It is not a PTZ — it does not pan or tilt.

EXIR 2.0 infrared reaches up to 80 m, with smart supplement light control so close subjects are not over-exposed. Night footage under infrared is black and white.

It accepts 12 V DC or 24 V AC (9.6–14.4 V DC or 19.2–28.8 V AC), max 10.5 W. The “A” in the model number denotes this dual-voltage input. It does not support Power over Coax.

It is 4-in-1, switchable between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS. Full 5 MP is available over TVI and AHD; CVI tops out at 4 MP.

No. The DS-2CE19H8T-AIT3ZF has no microphone and no audio.

Yes. The metal housing is IP67 rated and operates from −40 °C to 60 °C. No IK vandal rating is published for this model.

The bullet is a more visible deterrent and has the longer 80 m infrared. The matching DS-2CE79H8T-AIT3ZF turret has the same lens and resolution in a lower-profile housing with 60 m infrared.

Not on the camera. Pair it with a Hikvision AcuSense DVR to add human and vehicle classification and reduce false alarms at the recorder.
