Professional Overview

The Ubiquiti airMAX 2G15-120 is a carrier-class sector antenna specifically engineered for building robust and scalable Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) wireless networks. As a cornerstone of the airMAX ecosystem, this antenna provides network architects and Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) with a powerful tool to deliver reliable, high-speed connectivity over a wide coverage area in the 2.4 GHz spectrum.

At its core, the AM-2G15-120 features advanced 2x2 dual-polarity MIMO technology, which delivers a high gain of 15 dBi across a wide 120-degree horizontal beamwidth. This combination is ideal for creating a broad coverage sector that can serve numerous client devices (CPEs) from a single tower or mounting location. The antenna's excellent cross-polarization isolation and advanced beam-shaping technology ensure a clean, reliable signal, which improves data rates and reduces noise from co-located equipment, leading to a more stable and higher-performing network.

Designed for seamless integration and ease of deployment, the AM-2G15-120 features a built-in Rocket mount. This allows a Ubiquiti Rocket M2 radio to be securely attached directly to the antenna without any special tools, creating a single, robust basestation unit. The package includes weatherproof RF jumpers, ensuring a secure and durable connection between the radio and antenna that can withstand harsh outdoor conditions. This plug-and-play design significantly reduces installation time and complexity.

Built for the outdoors, the antenna is constructed from heavy-duty, UV-stabilized materials to ensure longevity and consistent performance in any climate. For WISPs and network operators looking to build out or expand their 2.4 GHz PtMP network, the Ubiquiti airMAX 2G15-120 offers an unmatched combination of coverage, performance, and reliability, providing a cost-effective solution for delivering last-mile internet access.
