Professional Overview

The Dream Wall integrates gateway, switching and PoE into a single wall-mounted unit, which concentrates a lot of a site's infrastructure behind one power supply. This module is the answer to that: a second, auxiliary supply so a power failure on one rail does not take the whole installation down.

Output is 550W at 54.8V DC and 10A. The 54.8V rail is the PoE supply voltage, which is why the module is rated where it is — the Dream Wall's PoE budget is the largest draw it has to carry, and redundancy is only meaningful if the backup can actually support the powered devices as well as the electronics.

Input is universal 100–240V AC at 50/60 Hz, drawing a maximum of 7A. Note the input connector is a JYP-M1207D-RT03R rather than a standard C13 or C14 — this is a Dream Wall-specific module, not a generic PSU, and the connector is one of the reasons it cannot be substituted.

The enclosure is aluminium alloy, SGCC steel and polycarbonate at 252.8 x 87.4 x 43.3 mm and 970 g — noticeably larger than the modular rack PSUs in the same family, because it is designed to sit with the Dream Wall rather than slide into a chassis bay. Certifications are CE, FCC and IC. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
