MikroTik LHGG LTE7 Kit Outdoor 17 dBi Grid Antenna CAT7 LTE Router (LHGGR&R11e-LTE7)

https://arcip.com.au/web/image/product.template/10341/image_1920?unique=c3b8311

The LHGG LTE7 kit is built for the last mile — the properties where fixed line never arrived and a phone sitting on the kitchen bench shows one bar. A 17 dBi directional grid antenna is aimed at the tower and a CAT7 modem does the rest, pulling up to 300 Mbps down and, more importantly, up to 100 Mbps up. That doubled uplink is what separates it from the LTE6 model it replaces: it is the difference between a link that carries video surveillance, VPN and remote work for a household or a site office, and one that only just carries browsing. The grid construction is deliberate — open mesh sheds wind load instead of catching it, which matters on an exposed mast, and the enclosure and heat sink are rated from -40 to 70 degrees C.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work on Australian mobile networks?

Yes. It covers LTE band 28 at 700 MHz and band 3 at 1800 MHz, which carry most Telstra, Optus and Vodafone coverage, along with bands 1, 5, 7, 8 and 20 and TDD bands 40 and 41. Band 28 is the one that reaches into rural and fringe areas, and it is exactly where a 17 dBi directional antenna earns its keep.

How is it different from the LHGG LTE6 kit?

The modem steps up from CAT6 to CAT7, which doubles the upload ceiling from roughly 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps and improves responsiveness under load. The antenna, the grid construction and the mounting stay the same, so an LTE6 install can be swapped over without touching the mast work.

Do I need a separate power supply on the mast?

No. It draws a maximum of 8 W over 802.3af/at PoE, so a standard PoE port or injector at the other end of the Ethernet run powers it. That is the whole point of the design — one cable up the pole, no outlet at the top.

Can it be ordered now?

This is an indent item — it is not held by Australian distribution at the moment. We can bring it in to order. Contact us and we will confirm the lead time and the price before you commit it to a job.

Buying from ARC IP Networks

Indent item. This product is not currently held by Australian distribution, so it is brought in to order. Contact us for lead time and confirmed pricing before you commit to it on a job. The price shown is indicative, based on MikroTik's published pricing and our normal landed cost on the rest of the MikroTik range. It is confirmed in writing on your quote before anything is ordered.

ARC IP Networks is a Melbourne-based network integrator in Blackburn, Victoria. MikroTik hardware we supply is genuine stock brought in through authorised distribution, with manufacturer warranty handled locally and your rights under Australian Consumer Law on top of it.

We hold trade accounts for installers, integrators and electrical contractors, and we price match against any written quote from an Australian supplier. For project volumes it is worth talking to us directly rather than ordering line by line.

Beyond supply we design and deploy the networks this hardware runs on — structured cabling, PoE switching, wireless design, and GPON fibre infrastructure through our sister company ARC DATA.
