DeepinView ANPR FAQ – iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY

It is a 4 MP DeepinView ANPR motorised varifocal bullet camera with a 4.7–118 mm super-long lens and IR up to 200 m. It recognises licence plates on the camera, detects vehicle attributes and supports parking management and perimeter protection.

Hikvision lists licence plate recognition across 4 regions, including Asia-Pacific, covering more than 124 countries/regions. Recognition is designed for checkpoint scenarios, with a quoted recognition rate of ≥98% under recommended installation and lighting.

Hikvision quotes vehicle capture at up to 120 km/h with front installation in a checkpoint scenario and up to 80 km/h with side installation.

The horizontal field of view ranges from 55.8° at 4.7 mm to 2.8° at 118 mm. That lets one camera cover a wide gate area or zoom in on a point far down an access road. The lens is motorised with P-iris and auto focus.

The 850 nm IR reaches up to 200 m with this lens, and Smart Supplement Light balances exposure on nearer targets.

The camera has 2 alarm outputs, a Wiegand output (-Y model) and RS-485, and allow/block lists of up to 50,000 records with separate alarm triggering, so it can be integrated with gate controllers and access control systems.

It runs on PoE 802.3at (max. 24.2 W), 12 VDC or 24 VAC. It is rated IP67 and IK10, has NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection, a heater and de-icing, and operates from −40 °C to 65 °C.

Professional overview

The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A45G2/P-IZHSY is a 4 MP ANPR bullet camera from the DeepinView range, fitted with a 4.7–118 mm motorised super-long lens. A 1/2.7″ progressive scan CMOS records 2688 × 1520 video at up to 60 fps in monitoring mode, while the lens spans 55.8° down to 2.8° horizontally. It is designed for site entrances, boom gates, access roads, car parks, logistics yards and industrial sites where vehicles need to be identified and logged.

Licence plate recognition runs on the camera itself, covering vehicles and motorcycles across four regions and more than 124 countries/regions. Hikvision quotes a recognition rate of ≥98% and capture rate of ≥99% under recommended conditions, with capture speeds up to 120 km/h for front installation. Allow and block lists of up to 50,000 records trigger separate alarms, and vehicle attribute detection reports type, colour, brand and driving direction. Parking management adds space status, overstay and vacancy alarms.

For night operation, DarkFighter 2.0 keeps colour down to 0.005 lux, 150 dB WDR handles headlight glare, and 850 nm IR reaches up to 200 m. Deep-learning perimeter protection, audio event detection (gunshot, glass break, scream, crying) and the HEOP 2.0 open platform with 2.5 TOPS extend the camera beyond ANPR. AcuSeek search is available when paired with AcuSeek NVRs or servers.

The aluminium alloy housing is rated IP67 and IK10 with NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection, includes a heater and de-icing, and operates from −40 °C to 65 °C. Interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet, 2 alarm inputs and outputs, audio in/out, RS-485 and Wiegand, with power from 802.3at PoE+, 12 VDC or 24 VAC. It supports ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M. It comes with the full Hikvision manufacturer’s warranty. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
