Best for

  • Entrances, lobbies and car-park ramps where PTRZ lets one dome be aimed from a wall or ceiling.
  • Retail and hospitality venues that want people counting, queue and heat-map data from the security camera.
  • Construction sites, warehouses and plants that need hard hat and reflective-clothing (PPE) alerts.
  • Sites that need audible talk-down through the built-in speaker when an intrusion rule triggers.
  • Coastal or exposed locations that need IP67, IK10, NEMA 4X and operation down to −40 °C.

DeepinView PTRZ FAQ – iDS-2CD7546G2-XZHSY

It is a 4 MP DeepinView PTRZ motorised varifocal dome camera with a 2.8–12 mm lens, IR and white light up to 40 m, DarkFighter 2.0, 150 dB WDR and a wide set of deep-learning functions including face capture, people counting, PPE detection and perimeter protection.

PTRZ stands for pan, tilt, rotate and zoom. The camera module can be moved remotely (pan 0–355°, tilt 0–85°, rotate 0–355°) and the lens zoomed and focused, so the view can be set after the dome is mounted on a wall or ceiling.

On the 2.8–12 mm model, IR and white light reach up to 40 m in monitoring mode. DarkFighter 2.0 keeps colour down to 0.0005 lux before the lights are needed.

Yes. Built-in PPE detection checks for hard hats and reflective clothing and triggers an alarm when they are not worn. It also supports smoking and phone-call detection.

Yes. It has 2 built-in microphones and a built-in speaker, plus line in and line out, so operators can issue live warnings and the camera can play an audible warning on an event.

It runs on PoE IEEE 802.3at (Class 4), max. 22.4 W, or 12 VDC (max. 22.4 W). Use a PoE+ switch or NVR port.

Yes. The -Y model adds NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection, rated by Hikvision as moderate protection for areas about 2 km from the coastline, on top of IP67 and IK10. It operates from −40 °C to 65 °C and has a heater.

Professional overview

The Hikvision iDS-2CD7546G2-XZHSY is a 4 MP PTRZ dome from the DeepinView range that brings a large set of deep-learning functions into a flexible, easy-to-aim housing. A 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS records 2688 × 1520 video through a 2.8–12 mm motorised lens with P-iris, covering 114.6° to 41.8° horizontally. Remote pan, tilt, rotate and zoom make it straightforward to frame entrances, corridors, car parks, retail floors and work areas from a wall or ceiling mount.

DarkFighter 2.0 delivers colour down to 0.0005 lux, and 150 dB WDR handles bright doorways and glazed facades. IR and white light reach up to 40 m on this lens. In monitoring mode the camera can stream 4 MP at up to 60 fps, or 1080p at up to 120 fps, and ShotN helps capture moving people and vehicles clearly. Guanlan AI encoding and H.265+ keep storage and bandwidth in check across five streams.

The analytics cover security, operations and safety. Face capture detects up to 120 faces at once and compares against up to 150,000 enrolled faces. Multi-target-type detection captures bodies, faces and vehicles, with licence plate recognition. People counting, queue management, heat maps and on/off-duty detection give operational insight, while PPE detection, activity analysis and human/vehicle-filtered perimeter protection support compliance and intrusion response. Sound detection, two microphones and a built-in speaker add audio awareness and talk-down.

The aluminium alloy dome is rated IP67 and IK10, the -Y model adds NEMA 4X corrosion resistance, and a heater supports operation from −40 °C to 65 °C. It offers Gigabit Ethernet, 2 alarm inputs and outputs, RS-485, microSD up to 1 TB and TPM 2.0, and runs on 802.3at PoE+ or 12 VDC. It supports ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M. It comes with the full Hikvision manufacturer’s warranty. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
