MikroTik GPOE-CON-mini Compact 48-57V 802.3af/at to 24V Passive PoE Converter

https://arcip.com.au/web/image/product.template/10344/image_1920?unique=c3b8311

Half the awkward moments in a network install come down to the same mismatch: the switch supplies 48 volt standards-based PoE, and the device on the end of the cable wants 24 volt passive PoE. The GPOE-CON-mini sits in the middle and fixes it. Feed it 48 to 57 V 802.3af/at, and it delivers 24 V passive PoE out to devices like the LHG, SXTsq, Groove and NetBox ax — no switch replacement, no separate injector at the far end, no second cable run for power. At 87 by 33 by 20 millimetres it disappears into the install, and it fits inside the GPeR-IP67-Case for outdoor work.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the RBGPOE-CON-HP?

Same job, smaller package and a lower current ceiling. The CON-mini is 87 x 33 x 20 mm and limits output to 0.635 A, which suits the small outdoor radios it is aimed at. For higher-draw devices the full-size RBGPOE-CON-HP is the one to use.

Which devices need this?

Any MikroTik unit specified for 24 V passive PoE rather than 802.3af/at — the LHG range, SXTsq, Groove and NetBox ax are the common ones. If your device datasheet says 802.3af/at input, you do not need a converter at all.

Can it go outside?

Not on its own. It is designed to fit inside the GPeR-IP67-Case, which is how you use it on an outdoor install. Left exposed it is not weatherproof.

Does it affect network speed?

No. Both ports are Gigabit and data passes straight through; the converter only changes what is on the power pairs.

Buying from ARC IP Networks

Indent item. This product is not currently held by Australian distribution, so it is brought in to order. Contact us for lead time and confirmed pricing before you commit to it on a job. The price shown is indicative, based on MikroTik's published pricing and our normal landed cost on the rest of the MikroTik range. It is confirmed in writing on your quote before anything is ordered.

ARC IP Networks is a Melbourne-based network integrator in Blackburn, Victoria. MikroTik hardware we supply is genuine stock brought in through authorised distribution, with manufacturer warranty handled locally and your rights under Australian Consumer Law on top of it.

We hold trade accounts for installers, integrators and electrical contractors, and we price match against any written quote from an Australian supplier. For project volumes it is worth talking to us directly rather than ordering line by line.

Beyond supply we design and deploy the networks this hardware runs on — structured cabling, PoE switching, wireless design, and GPON fibre infrastructure through our sister company ARC DATA.
