Professional overview

The Hikvision DS-2XM6222G1-ID is a 2 MP mobile bullet network camera from Hikvision’s onboard security range. It is designed for buses, coaches, trucks, trains and emergency vehicles, where cameras face constant vibration, wide temperature swings and weather. This model uses a 4 mm fixed lens with an 87° horizontal field of view.

A 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers 1920 × 1080 video at up to 30 fps with H.265+ compression and three streams, so the recorder can keep full-resolution footage while sending a lighter stream over 4G. It reaches 0.002 lux at F1.6 and 0 lux with its 850 nm IR, which covers up to 30 m, and 120 dB WDR handles bright windscreens and doorways.

Smart events include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and exit, loitering, people gathering, fast moving and parking detection, plus face detection with picture upload. The camera supports ONVIF Profile S, G and T, ISAPI and SDK, up to 8 simultaneous live views, and a microSD slot for up to 256 GB of local recording.

The -ID version connects over RJ45 and runs on 9–36 VDC or 802.3af PoE (max. 7.5 W). Its metal body is rated IP68, operates from −30 °C to 75 °C, and carries EN 50155, EN 45545 and E-Mark approvals. It comes with the full Hikvision manufacturer’s warranty. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
