At a glance

The Hikvision DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26(F0) is a TandemVu panoramic speed dome: a 6 MP channel covering about 180° sits above a 4 MP 25× optical PTZ with 100 m IR. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on both channels and panorama linkage lets the PTZ zoom to anything spotted in the wide view.

Why choose the DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26

The DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26(F0) gives you two cameras in one: a 6 MP panoramic channel that covers roughly 180° with a 2.8 mm F1.0 lens and 30 m of white light, and a 4 MP PTZ channel with 25× optical zoom (4.8–120 mm) and 100 m infrared. Because the panorama never moves, the PTZ can chase detail without leaving the rest of the site unwatched. Panorama linkage ties the two together — select an object in the wide view and the PTZ zooms to it. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on both channels, and the PTZ adds face capture and regional people counting. Supplied by ARC IP Networks from genuine Australian stock with local support.

Before you order: this model has audio line in and line out but Hikvision does not list a built-in microphone or speaker — add an external speaker if you need talk-down. It needs PoE+ or 12 VDC (max. 24 W including heater and light) and uses two channels on the recorder.

Best for

  • Wide frontages: one 180° panorama replaces several fixed cameras.
  • Car parks and forecourts: 25× zoom to read detail at distance.
  • Operator-friendly: panorama linkage points the PTZ where you click.
  • Fewer false alarms: AcuSense human and vehicle classification on both channels.
  • Colour at night: 30 m white light on the panoramic channel.

Professional Overview

The Hikvision DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26(F0) is a TandemVu panoramic network speed dome built for wide, open sites. Its upper panoramic channel covers about 180° at 6 MP, while the lower 4 MP PTZ zooms 25× for detail. It is a natural fit for car parks, logistics yards, school grounds and public spaces where one mounting point needs to provide both situational awareness and identification.

The panoramic channel uses a 1/2.5″ sensor and 2.8 mm F1.0 lens at 3632 × 1632, rated to 0.0005 lux, with 30 m of white light for colour at night. The PTZ channel uses a 1/2.8″ sensor at 2560 × 1440 with a 4.8–120 mm lens (55° to 2.4° horizontal), infrared to 100 m, 80°/s pan and 300 presets.

AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles for line-crossing, intrusion and region rules on both channels. The PTZ captures faces (up to five simultaneously) and supports regional people counting, while panorama linkage lets an operator steer the PTZ from the panoramic image. Audio line in/out and a single alarm input/output connect it to speakers, sirens or access control.

It runs on 12 VDC or PoE+, drawing a maximum of 24 W including its window heater and white light. The IP66 housing has 6000 V lightning protection and operates from −30 to 65 °C. Australian warranty and local support come via ARC IP Networks. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.

Complete your system

This camera needs PoE+ (or 12 VDC), up to 24 W. It uses two recorder channels — and the 6 MP panorama adds bitrate — so allow for it when sizing an AcuSense NVR and its storage.

Browse Hikvision NVRs →

Works with your system

Storage & bandwidth. H.265 compression keeps storage and network load down — important on a PTZ that streams two channels. Edge recording to microSD with ANR fills recording gaps after a network outage.

Hikvision NVRs

Each TandemVu channel records as its own camera; pair with a Hikvision AcuSense NVR for smart search.

Hik-Connect app

Live view, PTZ control, playback and push notifications on iOS and Android.

Desktop & VMS

Supported clients: iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect.

ONVIF conformant

ONVIF for compatible third-party recorders and VMS.

Frequently asked questions

It has two channels: a 6 MP panoramic channel (3632 × 1632) and a 4 MP PTZ channel (2560 × 1440).

Hikvision specifies about 180° ±10° horizontal and 80° ±5° vertical from the 2.8 mm F1.0 panoramic lens.

The PTZ lens runs 4.8–120 mm (25× optical) with 16× digital zoom, narrowing to a 2.4° horizontal field of view.

It links the two channels: select a point or target in the panoramic image and the PTZ swings and zooms to it, so an operator can investigate without losing the wide view.

The panoramic channel has white light up to 30 m for colour night video. The PTZ channel uses infrared up to 100 m, so its night image is black and white.

Hikvision lists audio line in and line out for this model, not a built-in microphone or speaker. Connect an external microphone or speaker if you need audio.

PoE+ or 12 VDC. Hikvision quotes a maximum of 24 W, including up to 2.6 W for the heater and 11 W for the supplement light.

Yes — it is IP66 rated with 6000 V lightning protection and operates from −30 to 65 °C.
