The TP-Link VIGI C350(2.8mm) is a 5MP full-colour bullet network camera with the widest of its three lenses: a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens covering 109 degrees horizontally, with published detection to 63 m and identification to 6 m. It records up to 2880 x 1620, keeps night footage in colour with two white LEDs to 30 m, and adds people and vehicle analytics, two-way audio, 120 dB WDR, a microSD slot, IP67 and PoE.

VIGI C350(2.8mm) overview

VIGI makes the C350 5MP full-colour bullet with 2.8 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm lenses; this is the 2.8 mm model, the widest of the three. Its F1.6 lens on an M12 x P0.5 mount takes in 109 degrees horizontally, 57 degrees vertically and 128 degrees diagonally. The cost of that breadth is distance, and VIGI's DORI figures for the 2.8 mm lens are detect 63 m, observe 26 m, recognise 12 m and identify 6 m. The sensor is a 1/2.7-inch progressive scan CMOS and the top resolution is 2880 x 1620.

TP-Link says the C350 monitors 24-hour clear and colourful details even in a pitch-dark night, delivering up to 5MP with a large-aperture lens, high-sensitivity sensor and attached supplemental lights. Those lights are two white LEDs and two 850 nm IR LEDs, each with a 30 m range, switchable on auto, schedule, always on or always off. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux, or 0 lux with IR or white light. The C350 lists 120 dB WDR, though VIGI notes only DWDR is supported while People and Vehicle Analytics is enabled; BLC, HLC, 3D DNR and Smart IR are also listed.

Main-stream resolutions are 2880 x 1620, 2688 x 1520, 2304 x 1296, 2048 x 1280, 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 at up to 25 fps (50 Hz) or 30 fps (60 Hz), limited to 20 fps when the image is rotated 90 or 270 degrees. Main-stream encoding is H.265+, H.265, H.264+ or H.264 at 256 Kbps to 6 Mbps, and the sub-stream (up to 704 x 576) uses H.265 or H.264.

Beyond human and vehicle classification, the C350 adds People and Vehicle Analytics: you can search recorded people by attributes such as hair length and clothing, and vehicles by colour and type, to find events of interest faster. Detection rules cover area intrusion, line-crossing, region entering and exiting, object abandoned and removal, loitering, abnormal sound and scene change, and Active Defence warns intruders with sound and light. A built-in microphone (VIGI says it picks up within a 5 m radius) and speaker give two-way audio. Alarm linkage includes memory card recording to the built-in microSD slot, which the spec table lists at up to 512 GB. Power is 802.3af/at PoE (class 0, max 10.5 W) or 12 V DC (max 9 W), the housing is IP67, the dimensions are 78.42 x 186.88 x 71.55 mm, and it can be managed with the VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager.
