The TP-Link SG3452 is an Omada Access 48-port gigabit L2+ managed switch with 4 SFP slots. It has forty-eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, four 100/1000 Mbps SFP slots and RJ45 and micro-USB console ports, with 104 Gbps switching and a 16K MAC table. L2+ features include 32 IP interfaces, 48 static routes, DHCP server, VLAN, ACL, 802.1X and QoS, managed through Omada SDN or standalone, in a fanless chassis.

SG3452 overview

The SG3452 is TP-Link's Omada Access 48-Port Gigabit Switch with 4 SFP Slots, current AU hardware version V1.30. It brings 48 gigabit ports into a single fanless rack unit: forty-eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, four 100/1000 Mbps SFP slots, an RJ45 console port and a micro-USB console port. The ports are non-PoE. The package includes a console cable, mounting brackets, mounting feet and screws with the power cord and installation guide.

Performance is 104 Gbps switching capacity, a 77.38 Mpps forwarding rate, a 16K MAC table, a 12 Mbit buffer and 9 KB jumbo frames. L2+ features include 32 IPv4/IPv6 interfaces and 48 static routes, 128 static ARP entries out of 512 ARP entries, proxy and gratuitous ARP, DHCP server, DHCP interface, VLAN and L2 relay, link aggregation, spanning tree, loopback detection and 802.3x flow control, with VLAN, ACL, 802.1X and QoS. With an Omada controller the SG3452 is configured, monitored and upgraded alongside your gateways and access points, including from the Omada app. Centralised management requires Omada Cloud-Based Controller version 5.15.22 or later, or Hardware/Software Controller 5.15.20 or later.

The SG3452 is fanless despite its 48 ports, with an internal 100 to 240 V AC supply, a physical security lock and ±6 kV surge protection. Its 440 x 220 x 44 mm chassis is rack mountable. Maximum power consumption is 34.4 W at 220 V/50 Hz (34.9 W at 110 V/60 Hz). It is rated for -5 to 50 °C operation and -40 to 70 °C storage, a wider operating range than the 24-port SG3428 (0 to 45 °C).
