The TP-Link SG3452X is an Omada Access Plus 48-port gigabit L2+ managed switch with 4 10G SFP+ slots. Forty-eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and four 10G SFP+ uplinks give 176 Gbps switching capacity and 130.94 Mpps forwarding. It supports 128 IP interfaces, 48 static routes, DHCP server, VLAN, ACL, 802.1X and QoS, managed through Omada SDN or standalone, and it is fanless.

SG3452X overview

The SG3452X is TP-Link's Omada Access Plus 48-Port Gigabit Switch with 4x 10G SFP+ Slots, current AU hardware version V1.30. It combines forty-eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports with four 10G SFP+ slots, plus an RJ45 console port and a micro-USB console port, so a full floor of wired users can be aggregated onto 10G uplinks. The RJ45 ports are non-PoE; the SG3452XP is the 48-port PoE+ version.

Performance figures are 176 Gbps switching capacity, a 130.94 Mpps forwarding rate, a 16K MAC table, a 12 Mbit buffer and 9 KB jumbo frames. L2+ features include 128 IPv4/IPv6 interfaces and 48 static routes, 128 static ARP entries out of 512, proxy and gratuitous ARP, DHCP server, DHCP interface, VLAN and L2 relay, link aggregation, spanning tree and loopback detection, together with VLAN, ACL, 802.1X and QoS. In an Omada SDN deployment, the SG3452X is configured and monitored from the Cloud-Based, Hardware or Software Controller with intelligent network monitoring and unified configuration; standalone, the web GUI, CLI, SNMP and RMON remain available.

The SG3452X is fanless, with an internal 100 to 240 V AC supply, a physical security lock and 6 kV surge protection. Its 440 x 220 x 44 mm chassis is rack mountable, and the rackmount kit, rubber feet, power cord and quick installation guide are included. Maximum power consumption is 32.72 W at 110 V/60 Hz. Operating temperature is -5 to 45 °C. SFP+ transceivers or DAC cables are not included.
