Professional Overview

The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/VPro is a 16-channel network video recorder (NVR) with built-in PoE from Hikvision’s I/VPro Series with AcuSeek. It accepts up to 16 IP cameras and powers them directly from its 16 PoE ports (10/100 Mbps RJ45, IEEE 802.3af/at), which share a total PoE budget of up to 200 W — so each camera needs only one network cable and no separate PoE switch.

For live view and playback the DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/VPro decodes up to 32 channels at 1080p, or 20 channels at 1080p when AI on the NVR is enabled.

For local storage the NVR has two SATA interfaces, each supporting a hard drive of up to 20 TB. Four alarm inputs and one alarm output let it connect to external alarm equipment. It is housed in a 1U chassis and is rated for operation from -10 °C to 55 °C, making it a fit for commercial and larger residential sites that need up to 16 PoE cameras on one recorder.
