ARC DATA ARC-MESH-W7 at a glance

The ARC DATA ARC-MESH-W7 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 (BE3600) router that also works as an EasyMesh node. It delivers up to 2882 Mbps at 5 GHz and 688 Mbps at 2.4 GHz with Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM, has a 2.5 Gbps WAN port and two Gigabit LAN ports, and joins more units over EasyMesh with 802.11k/v/r roaming, so the whole home shares one Wi-Fi name.

ARC DATA is the networking brand of the ARC group. ARC IP Networks supplies the ARC-MESH-W7 from Australian stock.

Best for

  • Using one unit as your main Wi-Fi 7 router on any NBN plan, including 2000 Mbps plans on FTTP and HFC
  • Larger or multi-storey homes that need mesh Wi-Fi instead of a Wi-Fi extender
  • Small offices that want one Wi-Fi name across every room
  • ISPs and IT providers who want a router they can preconfigure and manage remotely

Key features

Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) BE3600: 2882 Mbps at 5 GHz + 688 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

Multi-Link Operation, 4096-QAM, OFDMA, Multi-RU and MU-MIMO uplink and downlink.

2.5 Gbps WAN port, so the port is not the bottleneck on 1000 Mbps or 2000 Mbps NBN plans.

Two Gigabit LAN ports for a TV, console, PC or switch.

EasyMesh with IEEE 1905.1 and 802.11k/v/r roaming: one Wi-Fi name, devices roam between nodes.

Mesh backhaul over 2.5GE wired Ethernet or over the air.

WPA3 security with PMF (802.11w), plus guest network.

TR-069 remote management through the ARC VISION Cloud Platform.

The ARC DATA ARC-MESH-W7 in depth

A Wi-Fi 7 router and a mesh node in one

Every ARC-MESH-W7 can be the main router or a mesh node. Start with one unit as your router, then add a second or third unit in rooms with weak Wi-Fi. The units link over EasyMesh and share one Wi-Fi name, and 802.11k/v/r roaming moves phones and laptops to the nearest unit.

Fast enough for NBN 1000 and 2000 Mbps plans

The WAN port runs at 2.5 Gbps, so it connects to an NBN connection box (FTTP, FTTC or HFC) without becoming the bottleneck on 1000 Mbps plans or on the 2000 Mbps plans nbn Co now offers on FTTP and HFC. It supports Dynamic IP (DHCP), Static IP and PPPoE, on IPv4 and IPv6. On FTTC, nbn Co's Fibre to the Curb guide says the router's WAN port connects by Ethernet to the yellow port C on the nbn connection box, which plugs into the phone wall socket, so no separate modem is needed. It has no built-in VDSL modem, so only FTTN and FTTB services need a separate VDSL2 modem.

Wi-Fi 7 features that matter at home

Multi-Link Operation lets compatible Wi-Fi 7 devices use more than one link at once, and 4096-QAM packs more data into each transmission. OFDMA and MU-MIMO in both directions help when many phones, TVs and laptops are online together.

Managed remotely for ISPs and IT providers

The ARC-MESH-W7 supports TR-069 and is managed through the ARC VISION Cloud Platform, so a service provider can preconfigure units before dispatch and check, reboot or update them remotely.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about the ARC DATA ARC-MESH-W7 from the ARC IP Networks team. Last reviewed November 2026.

Both. Each unit can work as your main Wi-Fi 7 router, or as an EasyMesh node that extends the Wi-Fi from another ARC-MESH-W7. All units share one Wi-Fi name.

Yes, on NBN services that use an Ethernet connection box, such as FTTP, FTTC and HFC. Plug its 2.5 Gbps WAN port into the connection box (on FTTC, its yellow port C, per nbn Co's Fibre to the Curb guide); it supports Dynamic IP (DHCP), Static IP and PPPoE. It has no built-in VDSL modem, so FTTN and FTTB need a separate VDSL2 modem.

Yes. The WAN port runs at 2.5 Gbps, so the port is not a bottleneck on 1000/400 Mbps plans or on the 2000 Mbps plans nbn Co offers on FTTP and HFC. Wi-Fi speed to each device depends on the device and its distance from the router.

ARC-MESH-W7 units join over EasyMesh and share one Wi-Fi name, with 802.11k/v/r roaming so devices move to the nearest unit as you walk around. The units can also link over a 2.5GE Ethernet cable for the fastest backhaul.

One unit is your router. Most larger or multi-storey homes add a second or third unit as mesh nodes in the areas with weak Wi-Fi. Call us on 1300 100 440 for 2-pack or 3-pack pricing.

Up to 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 3.6 Gbps combined (BE3600), with Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM.

WPA3, WPA3 Transition, WPA2 and WPA2 Mixed, with AES / AES-GCMP-256 and PMF (802.11w), plus a guest network, access control and URL, IP and MAC filters.

Yes. It supports TR-069 and is managed through the ARC VISION Cloud Platform, so units can be preconfigured before dispatch and checked or rebooted remotely.

One mesh router, a DC 12V / 1A power adapter with an Australian plug, an Ethernet cable and a guide. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
