Professional Overview

The Ubiquiti airCube ISP (ACB-ISP) is a cost-effective Wi-Fi router meticulously designed for Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) deployments. It provides a simple, reliable, and manageable solution for delivering in-home wireless connectivity to customers. Its compact and minimalist design allows it to blend seamlessly into any home environment, providing a professional finish to a WISP installation.

The defining feature of the airCube ISP is its intelligent 24V PoE passthrough capability on the WAN port. This allows a single power adapter to power both the airCube router and an outdoor customer-premises equipment (CPE) device, such as a Ubiquiti airMAX NanoStation. This innovative design streamlines the installation process, reduces cable clutter, and simplifies power management at the customer's location, making it a highly efficient choice for service providers.

The device provides solid wireless performance with 802.11n 2x2 MIMO technology, delivering speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency. This ensures reliable coverage and sufficient bandwidth for everyday internet activities like browsing, email, and standard-definition streaming. For wired connectivity, it includes four 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports (one for WAN, three for LAN) to connect essential devices.

Management of the airCube ISP is centralized and simplified through the Ubiquiti ISP (UISP) platform. This allows WISPs to remotely configure, monitor, and upgrade thousands of deployed airCube units from a single, intuitive interface. This powerful remote management capability is critical for reducing truck rolls and operational costs, making the airCube ISP an exceptionally smart and economical choice for any service provider's network.
