The Fanvil X5U-R in depth

A red phone for emergency and priority use

Fanvil designed the X5U-R in a distinctive red so it can be identified straight away in special application scenarios where a device must be found quickly in an emergency, such as fire stations, hospitals and government agencies. Inside it is the X5U enterprise phone, with the same screens, keys and features.

Two colour screens for calls and DSS keys

The X5U-R pairs a 3.5-inch main colour screen with a separate 2.4-inch colour screen that labels its 6 DSS keys. Paging across 5 pages gives up to 30 DSS keys for BLF, speed dials or extra lines, alongside 4 LED line keys on the main display.

Bluetooth built in, Gigabit PoE on the desk

Built-in Bluetooth 4.2 connects a Bluetooth headset or a mobile device without a dongle. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE to IEEE 802.3af let the phone share a single cable with a PC, and the WF20 dongle adds Wi-Fi where no cabling is available.
