Ubiquiti UA-Hub-Door: Access Door Hub

The Access Door Hub is part of the UniFi Access range. A single-door mechanism that provides complete entry and exit control via connected Access Readers.

It controls 1 door, holds up to 6,000 users and provides 2 lock terminals.

Indoor only. The hub belongs inside the building — in a comms cabinet or above the ceiling on the secure side of the door, never on the outside face where it is exposed to weather and to anyone with a screwdriver.

It is listed to UL 294, the North American access-control standard, at the levels published below. There is no direct Australian equivalent certification for this class of product, so treat it as evidence of build quality rather than as local compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the UA-Hub-Door?

The Access Door Hub is part of the UniFi Access range. A single-door mechanism that provides complete entry and exit control via connected Access Readers.

How many doors does the UA-Hub-Door control?

1. Add a hub per door beyond that.

How many users can the UA-Hub-Door hold?

Up to 6,000.

How is the UA-Hub-Door powered, and can it power the readers?

(1) PoE++ input, 50V DC, 1A (4) PoE+ outputs, 50V DC, 30W per port (Max 45W aggregated). That means the hub takes power in over Ethernet and passes power out to the readers or cameras on the door, so you are not running a separate supply to each one.

Can the UA-Hub-Door be mounted outside?

Indoor only. Mount it on the secure side of the door — an access hub on the unsecured side is both a weather problem and a security one.

What lock types does the UA-Hub-Door support?

The lock terminal switches between wet and dry operation, dry output Lock: 30V DC, 1A Aux: 30V DC, 1A. Wet drives a 12 V strike or maglock directly; dry is a volt-free contact for a lock with its own power supply.

Is it certified for access control?

It is listed to UL 294 at Destructive attack: Level I Line security: Level I Endurance: Level I Standby power: Level I. UL 294 is the North American standard; Australia has no direct equivalent listing for this class of device.

What software manages the UA-Hub-Door?

UniFi Access, running on a UniFi console — a Cloud Gateway, Dream Machine or compatible host. The hub does not run the application itself.

What temperature range is the UA-Hub-Door rated for?

0 to 40° C (32 to 104° F).

How is the UA-Hub-Door mounted?

DIN-rail (Included).
