The Ruijie RG-WS6512-L in depth

Controller for large Wi-Fi estates

The RG-WS6512-L runs Ruijie's RGOS and manages 128 APs out of the box. Capacity licences take it to 1,152 generic APs or 2,304 wall plate APs and up to 32,768 clients, with a 16-core CPU and 40 Gbps forwarding capacity.

Resilient by design

Two hot-swappable 70 W power module slots run in 1+1 redundancy, and up to four controllers can be virtualised into one logical AC with N+M hot standby and shared licences. AC clusters share client data so users keep their IP address and authentication while roaming.

Policy, security and management

DPI identifies over 2,500 applications for QoS, while WIDS, rogue AP containment, ARP inspection and DHCP snooping protect the network. A built-in portal server, 802.1X, MAB and SMS authentication cover staff and guests, and the controller is managed by CLI, Eweb, SNMP or Ruijie Cloud.
