The Ruijie RG-AP820-L(V2) in depth

Wi-Fi 6 with a dual 5 GHz option

The RG-AP820-L(V2) is a Ruijie enterprise Wi-Fi 6 indoor AP whose first radio can run on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. In 2.4 + 5 GHz mode it reaches 1.775 Gbps combined; in 5 + 5 GHz mode it reaches 2.402 Gbps, adding capacity where clients are dense.

Slim and flexible to install

At 26 mm high with a concealed LAN port and discreet cabling, it mounts on a wall or ceiling using the supplied bracket. Power comes from 802.3af PoE or a 48 V DC adapter, with 12.95 W maximum consumption.

Controller, standalone or cloud

The AP switches between Fat, Fit and Cloud modes. With an RG-WS controller it gains centralised or local forwarding, 802.11k/v/r steering and Layer 3 roaming; with Ruijie Cloud it gains AI-based wireless optimisation and a Wi-Fi heat map.
