Professional Overview

The MikroTik R11e-2HPnD is a high-power 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n wireless card designed to significantly enhance the wireless capabilities of compatible MikroTik RouterBOARDs. This miniPCI-e module is an ideal solution for system integrators and network professionals seeking to build or upgrade access points, wireless clients, or robust point-to-multipoint links that require extended range and reliable performance in the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Its high output power rating ensures a strong signal and improved link stability, crucial for overcoming environmental challenges and reaching distant clients.

Equipped with dual MMCX connectors, the R11e-2HPnD supports 2x2 MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) configurations, allowing for the connection of two external antennas. This flexibility enables users to select specific antenna types (omnidirectional, sector, or directional) to precisely tailor wireless coverage and link characteristics to their exact deployment needs. The robust MMCX connectors provide a secure and low-loss connection, preserving signal integrity from the card to the antenna, which is paramount for maximizing throughput and maintaining a stable wireless link.

The standard miniPCI-e form factor ensures seamless integration into a wide array of MikroTik RouterBOARDs, making it a versatile component for various network designs. When combined with MikroTik's powerful RouterOS operating system, the R11e-2HPnD unlocks a comprehensive suite of wireless functionalities, including advanced modes (AP, Station, Bridge), security protocols (WPA2, AES), and Quality of Service (QoS). This allows network administrators to precisely control and optimize wireless performance, segment traffic, and secure their wireless networks against unauthorized access.

For applications such as Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) client-side equipment, long-range outdoor Wi-Fi extension, or industrial automation requiring stable 2.4 GHz connectivity, the MikroTik R11e-2HPnD offers a cost-effective and powerful solution. Its combination of high power output, flexible external antenna support, and full RouterOS compatibility ensures robust, scalable, and manageable wireless deployments. This card is a strategic investment for enhancing wireless network reach, improving data transmission reliability, and providing stable connectivity for demanding 802.11b/g/n applications.
