Specifications from Teltonika's official product data for the OTD144, checked October 2026.

The OTD144 Outdoor Wi-Fi Router in depth

Outdoor LTE Wi-Fi in a rugged housing

The OTD144 is designed to bring reliable Wi-Fi to outdoor environments where robust networking is essential. It combines LTE Cat 4 connectivity (up to 150 DL/50 UL Mbps) with built-in Wi-Fi 4 and two Ethernet ports. The weather-resistant plastic (PC+ASA) housing carries an IP55 rating and is rated for -40 °C to 70 °C and 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity. An integrated mounting bracket suits vertical flat surface or pole mounting, and two internal antennas keep the installation tidy.

Dual SIM failover and PoE

Two Mini SIM (2FF) slots support automatic switching on weak signal, data limit, SMS limit, roaming, no network, network denied, data connection fail and SIM idle protection. One Ethernet port accepts PoE In (802.3af/at) so power and data can run over a single cable. The other port provides PoE Out (802.3af Alternative B) at up to 15 W per port, depending on the power supply unit. Both ports are 10/100 Mbps and can be configured as WAN.

RutOS, security and remote management

The OTD144 runs RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux OS, and is fully compatible with the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS). It includes a firewall, a captive portal hotspot and VPN options such as OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP and more. Monitoring options include SNMP, MQTT and TR-069, and the router can be managed through its WebUI, SSH or RMS. Site Manager mode supports centralised management of TAP access points and Teltonika managed switches.
