The OTD140 Outdoor 4G Router in depth

Built for outdoor deployment

The OTD140 uses a durable IP55 plastic (PC+ASA) housing with an integrated mounting bracket. The bracket suits vertical flat surfaces or pole mounting. The router operates from -40 °C to 75 °C and 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity. It measures 110 x 49.30 x 235 mm and weighs 315 g. Two internal antennas cover 698 - 960 / 1710 - 2690MHz.

4G connectivity with dual SIM failover

The OTD140 offers 4G LTE Cat 4 (up to 150 DL/50 UL Mbps), with 3G and 2G fallback. It has two Mini SIM (2FF) slots. Automatic switching can be triggered by weak signal, data limit, SMS limit, roaming, no network, network denied, data connection fail or SIM idle protection. Auto APN, band lock, bridge and passthrough modes are also supported.

PoE-in/out and remote management

The router can be powered through its PoE-in port (802.3af/at, 42.5–57.0 VDC). The PoE-out port (802.3af Alternative B) supplies up to 15 W max, depending on the power supply unit. Both ports are RJ45 at 10/100 Mbps. The OTD140 is compatible with Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS) and runs RutOS. It supports OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard and other VPN types, plus Modbus TCP, OPC UA, DNP3, DLMS and BACnet.
