Figures from Cisco's official data sheet.

The Cisco Meraki in depth

Wi-Fi 6 for everyday indoor spaces

The Meraki MR36 is a 2x2:2 802.11ax access point designed for offices, schools, hospitals, shops and hotels. Concurrent 2.4 and 5 GHz radios deliver up to 1.5 Gbps aggregate frame rate, with MU-MIMO and OFDMA for efficient service to many clients.

Four radios, no compromise

A dedicated third radio scans both bands around the clock for WIDS/WIPS, rogue AP containment and RF analytics, so client traffic is never interrupted. A fourth Bluetooth Low Energy radio adds beaconing and BLE device visibility.

Managed from the Meraki cloud

The MR36 downloads its configuration when connected and keeps its firmware current automatically. The dashboard provides monitoring, automatic RF optimisation and Layer 7 traffic shaping. A Meraki access point licence is required.
