The Mercusys Halo H37BE(3-pack) bundles three BE6500 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 Halos, and Mercusys rates the 3-pack for up to 7,000 ft² (650 m²). Each unit lists 5760 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and carries two 2.5 Gbps ports and one gigabit port, for six 2.5 Gbps and three 1 Gbps ports across the kit.

Halo H37BE(3-pack) overview

Three Halo H37BE units make up this kit, with a Mercusys coverage rating of up to 7,000 ft² (650 m²) compared with 460 m² for the 2-pack. After the main Halo is configured in the Mercusys app, the other two are powered up in the rooms that need signal and join on their own, creating one network with a single name and password. Mercusys's figures for coverage, speed and device counts are not guaranteed, and it lists ISP factors, network conditions, client limitations, building materials, obstacles, traffic and client location as variables.

Every unit in the box is BE6500 class: dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with up to 5760 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Mercusys gets there with 160 MHz channels on 5 GHz and 4096-QAM, and it lists Multi-Link Operation, Multi-RUs and beamforming as the wireless functions. In some regions regulatory rules may prevent 160 MHz operation on 5 GHz, and Mercusys says Wi-Fi 7 features need matching client support and that software upgrades may be needed for full feature availability. Its device figure is over 200, from a lab test of simultaneous video, downloads, browsing, cameras and IoT devices.

Wired connectivity scales with the extra unit. Each H37BE has two 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports and one 1 Gbps WAN/LAN port, so the 3-pack has six multi-gig ports and three gigabit ports spread over three locations. One port takes the incoming connection; Mercusys notes that only one port can serve as the WAN at a time and that 2.5 Gbps internet speeds need a plan and equipment that support them. The others can feed PCs, smart TVs or game consoles directly. Phones and tablets that support 802.11k/v/r are moved to the fastest node as they travel through the house, according to Mercusys, although some may need extra setup.

Supported modes are Router and AP, with Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, L2TP and PPTP WAN types, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP reservation, port forwarding, UPnP and Mercusys DDNS. For IPTV the H37BE offers IGMP Proxy, IGMP Snooping, bridge and Tag VLAN. Encryption options are WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE, backed by an SPI firewall and access control. The Mercusys app covers live device status, blocking, QoS priority, guest networks, unfamiliar-device alerts and family profiles with online time limits and site blocking. The 3-pack box packs three Halo H37BE units, three power adapters, one RJ45 Ethernet cable and the Quick Installation Guide. Each unit is 150 x 94 x 86 mm and draws up to 18 W from its 12 V / 2 A adapter. Further Halos must be H series models, because Mercusys states the H and S series do not work together.
