The Synology DVA7400 in depth

High-density AI surveillance hub

The DVA7400 is a 12-bay rackmount recorder that processes up to 100 camera feeds and 40 real-time deep learning tasks on-premises. Recordings and AI metadata stay on the unit, and the 12-bay design supports long retention periods for compliance requirements.

Search and act faster

Semantic Video Search lets operators type everyday language to locate subjects across cameras, while Attribute Search narrows results by clothing colour or vehicle type. Face recognition, license plate recognition, counting, loitering, crowd and intrusion detection turn footage into alerts and reports.

Built for uptime

Dual PSUs, hot-swappable fans and an out-of-band management port keep the system serviceable during faults, and two 10GbE ports handle heavy camera traffic. Surveillance Station CMS and Event Center unify management and events across multi-site deployments.
