Why choose the DS-1LN6UZC0-YELLOW

The Hikvision DS-1LN6UZC0-YELLOW is the backbone of a reliable IP camera system. Cable is the one part of an installation that is hardest to replace later, and this Cat6 uses solid bare-copper conductors — not copper-clad aluminium (CCA) — for lower resistance, better transmission and dependable PoE power delivery to cameras, access points and intercoms.

Hikvision tests the cable where it matters for surveillance: an excellent result in the Fluke 90 m permanent-link test while running continuously at 50 °C, and in the Fluke 100 m channel test while continuously loaded with 57 V / 1 A DC (PoE). It is built to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D, IEC 61156 and ISO/IEC 11801 and is RoHS 2.0 compliant.

A tough PVC sheath with high tensile and compressive strength resists damage during the pull, a rip cord makes stripping quick and a cross separator keeps the four pairs in place. The 305 m box suits whole jobs. The yellow jacket makes camera runs easy to identify. Supplied by ARC IP Networks as genuine Australian stock.

Best for

  • PoE camera runs: solid copper for reliable power and data to cameras.
  • Whole installations: a 305 m box covers a typical multi-camera job.
  • Structured cabling: Cat6 to TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801.
  • Hot ceiling spaces: tested at 50 °C over a 90 m permanent link.
  • Colour coding: yellow jacket to identify the CCTV or data runs.

Professional Overview

The Hikvision DS-1LN6UZC0-YELLOW is a Cat6 U/UTP four-pair network cable supplied in a 305 m box with a yellow PVC jacket. It is designed for the IP video and PoE installations that Hikvision cameras, recorders and switches are built around, and is equally at home carrying data to workstations, access points and intercoms.

Conductors are solid bare copper, 0.50 mm in diameter (24 AWG), which Hikvision specifies for lower resistance and better electrical and transmission performance. That matters for PoE: unlike copper-clad aluminium, solid copper keeps voltage drop and heating down across long runs, so cameras at the far end of a 90–100 m run receive the power they need.

The cable complies with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D, IEC 61156 and ISO/IEC 11801 and is RoHS 2.0 compliant. Hikvision reports excellent results in the Fluke 90 m permanent-link test while working continuously at 50 °C, and in the Fluke 100 m channel test while continuously loaded with 57 V / 1 A DC PoE power. The PVC sheath has high tensile and compressive strength to resist damage during installation, and a rip cord and separator speed up termination.

This cable is rated for indoor use; for underground, conduit-in-ground or exposed outdoor runs, use a cable specifically rated for outdoor installation. In Australia, fixed cabling must be installed by a registered cabler. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.

Choose your colour

Both colours are the same Hikvision DS-1LN6UZC0 Cat6 U/UTP solid-copper cable in a 305 m box — only the jacket colour differs. Many installers use one colour for CCTV and another for data.

Complete your system

Terminate with Cat6-rated RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks and connect your cameras to a Hikvision PoE switch or PoE NVR. Keep each run within 100 m for standard Ethernet; Hikvision smart-managed switches offer a long-range mode of up to 300 m (performance varies with camera model and cable condition).

Works with your system

Solid copper, not CCA. Copper-clad aluminium (CCA) cable has higher resistance and runs hotter under PoE. This Hikvision cable uses solid bare-copper conductors throughout.

Hikvision IP cameras

Single-cable power and data over PoE.

PoE switches & NVRs

Hikvision smart-managed switches and PoE NVRs.

Wi-Fi access points

Gigabit Ethernet and PoE to ceiling APs.

Intercoms & access control

IP door stations and readers.

Workstations

Standard Cat6 data outlets.

Frequently asked questions

It uses solid bare-copper conductors (0.50 mm, 24 AWG). Hikvision’s global datasheet lists the copper as 99.95%. It is not copper-clad aluminium (CCA).

Each box holds 305 m (± 1.5 m) of cable.

Yes. Hikvision tests it in the Fluke 100 m channel test while continuously loaded with 57 V / 1 A DC PoE power, and solid copper keeps voltage drop low on long runs.

Hikvision rates this cable for indoor use. For underground conduit, direct burial or exposed outdoor runs, use a cable designed and rated for outdoor installation.

No — it is U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair), which is standard for most camera and office installations and does not need shielded connectors or earthing.

The conductors are 0.50 ± 0.01 mm (24 AWG) with 0.88 mm insulation.

In Australia, fixed telecommunications cabling must be installed by a registered cabler. Hikvision’s datasheet lists ANSI/TIA, IEC and ISO/IEC standards; check any local compliance requirements with your cabler.
