The Synology BC800Z in depth

4K detail with adjustable zoom

The BC800Z pairs a 4K sensor with a 4.38 to 9.33 mm motorised varifocal lens, so you can set the view from 112.1° wide to 47.5° tele after mounting. A 1/1.8" starlight sensor, HDR and hybrid white/IR lighting keep footage clear in high-contrast scenes and at night.

AI on the camera itself

License plate recognition, smoke detection, people and vehicle counting, intrusion detection and Instant Search run on the camera without pairing with a DVA. Smoke detection and license plate recognition cannot run at the same time; all other AI detections can operate concurrently.

Built for Surveillance Station

Add single cameras or batches through Surveillance Station or the DS cam app, with automatic firmware updates and microSD failover recording. Each camera requires a Surveillance Station device licence, and Synology covers the BC800Z with a 5-year warranty.
