The Fanvil Y501 in depth

A simple emergency call point for care settings

Fanvil designed the Y501 for home-based care, nursing homes and other indoor applications that need emergency communication. Three detachable antibacterial buttons handle speed dial, emergency and cancel, and up to 10 optional 433MHz wireless buttons can extend calls to the bedside or bathroom.

SIP intercom with HD audio

With 2 SIP lines, auto answer and duplex intercom with echo cancelling, the Y501 calls a nurse station or SIP extension directly over the network. G.722 and Opus codecs give HD audio, and a red/green light shows registration and call state.

Easy to install and integrate

The Y501 takes power from PoE or a 12V DC supply over a single 10/100 Mbps network port and mounts on the wall. A short circuit input and a relay output let it link to other devices, and it is managed through a web portal and auto-provisioning.
