The TP-Link UH6120C is a 6-in-1 USB Type-C hub that adds a Gigabit Ethernet port to the HDMI, charging and USB lineup: 1x HDMI 4K@60Hz, 1x RJ45 1 Gbps, 1x PD 100W input, 1x USB-C and 2x USB-A data ports at 5 Gbps. It has a self-storing connector, braided 180 mm cable and aluminium alloy case.

UH6120C overview

The UH6120C is the TP-Link USB-C hub that adds a wired network port to the HDMI, charging and USB mix. Its six ports cover a 4K@60Hz HDMI output, a 1 Gbps RJ45 port, a 100W Power Delivery input, one 5 Gbps USB-C data port and two 5 Gbps USB-A data ports. TP-Link describes the Ethernet port as providing stable Gigabit connectivity for an ultrabook, Chromebook, laptop or desktop.

The HDMI port drives an external monitor at up to 4K at 60 Hz. Plug the charging cable into the PD port and the hub continuously delivers up to 100W of power to your PC while files transfer or media streams. The three USB 3.0 data ports each run at up to 5 Gbps and can be used at the same time, with backward compatibility for USB 2.0/1.1 devices. Those port speeds, TP-Link notes, come from testing in its own lab; real-world rates are not guaranteed and change with the devices and environment.

TP-Link's two supported-systems statements on this page do not match. The feature text lists driver-free install with Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and later, Windows 11/10/8.1, Linux OS, iPadOS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS and Nintendo OS, while the specification table lists Mac OS X 10.9 and later and Windows 7 and later. TP-Link also notes that you may need to update the hub's drivers after an OS update. The UH6120C is 118.2 x 43 x 14.3 mm, with an aluminium alloy case, a 180 mm braided cable and a self-storing design that protects the USB-C plug. A quick installation guide is included.
