The TP-Link POE370S is an Omada 10G PoE++ injector. It complies with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt (type 3) and supplies up to 60 W, with two 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G RJ45 ports so a Wi-Fi 7 access point, PTZ camera or other high-power device gets multi-gig data and power on one cable. It has an integrated power supply, a durable metal casing and wall or desktop mounting, and is plug and play.

POE370S overview

The POE370S is TP-Link's Omada 10G PoE++ injector. TP-Link says it fully complies with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt (type 3) standards with up to 60 W of power supply, and that it can easily expand your network to where there are no power lines or outlets, making it ideal for connecting PTZ IP cameras, access points and LEDs. Because it is a standards-based injector, it negotiates with the powered device and automatically determines and supplies the exact power needed, so it can feed an 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt type 3 device from the same unit. This is the key difference from TP-Link's POE5460X, which is also a 60 W, 10G unit but supplies fixed 54 V passive PoE.

Both RJ45 ports run at 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps, so the injector does not become a bottleneck between a multi-gig switch port and a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 access point with a 2.5G, 5G or 10G uplink. Listed standards are IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3bt, 802.3bz and 802.3an. TP-Link's cabling guidance is UTP category 5 or above up to 100 m for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX, UTP category 5e or above up to 100 m for 1000BASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T, and for 10GBASE-T either UTP category 6 or above up to 50 m or STP category 6a or above up to 90 m. Plan 10G runs to those distances.

The power supply is integrated, so there is no external brick: a power cord runs straight to the injector, and its maximum power supply is 60 W. TP-Link highlights a durable metal casing and a wall-mounting and desktop design that accommodates most installation scenarios. PWR and PoE LEDs show power and PoE status. It measures 154.7 x 70 x 42 mm (6.09 x 2.76 x 1.65 in). The operating temperature range is -5 to 45 degrees C (23 to 113 degrees F), storage is -40 to 70 degrees C, and humidity is 10 to 90% RH operating and 5 to 90% RH storage, non-condensing. It is FCC and CE certified. Installation is plug and play and needs no configuration, and the package contains the POE370S, a power cord and an installation guide.
