The TP-Link Archer TX10UB Nano puts AX900 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 into one nano USB adapter for Windows 11 and 10. TP-Link lists up to 600 Mbps on 5 GHz and 287 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, MU-MIMO and OFDMA, WPA3 security, and a 19.2 x 15.7 x 7.4 mm body you can plug in and leave in place.

Archer TX10UB Nano overview

The Archer TX10UB Nano is a two-in-one adapter: AX900 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 in a single nano USB dongle. It suits a laptop or desktop running Windows 11 or Windows 10 that lacks Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, or both. TP-Link rounds its speed to up to 900 Mbps, made up of 287 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 600 Mbps on 5 GHz. The specification lists IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax on 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11a/n/ac/ax on 5 GHz, with dynamic rates on 5 GHz of up to 600 Mbps (11ax), 433 Mbps (11ac), 150 Mbps (11n) and 54 Mbps (11a), and on 2.4 GHz of up to 287 Mbps (11ax), 200 Mbps (11n), 54 Mbps (11g) and 11 Mbps (11b). Modulation goes up to 1024-QAM.

TP-Link highlights MU-MIMO and OFDMA for lower latency, higher efficiency and less congestion. With MU-MIMO, the network processes bandwidth for multiple devices simultaneously; with OFDMA and a compatible router, the PC receives data at the same time as other devices on the same stream, which TP-Link describes as next-to-nothing lag for video and games. The antenna is omni-directional, and reception sensitivity is listed at -94 dBm (11a 6M) and -87 dBm (11ax HE80 MCS0) on 5 GHz, and -95 dBm (11g 6M) and -93 dBm (11ax HE40 MCS0) on 2.4 GHz. The adapter runs in infrastructure mode.

The Bluetooth half is Bluetooth 5.3, which TP-Link says inherits the high speed and broad coverage of the previous generation while improving reliability and security, for more robust coordination with game controllers, headphones and keyboards. Because Wi-Fi and Bluetooth share one dongle, you use only one USB port. Wi-Fi security covers WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE, with WPA3 bringing stronger password encryption and protection against brute-force attacks.

At 19.2 x 15.7 x 7.4 mm the TX10UB Nano is small enough to plug into any USB port and forget it is there, at home or while travelling. It uses a USB 2.0 interface, carries CE and FCC certification, and is rated for 0 °C to 40 °C operation at 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity. TP-Link lists Windows 11 and Windows 10 as supported systems. In the box are the Archer TX10UB Nano AX900 nano Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.3 USB adapter and a quick installation guide.
