The TP-Link APM-103 is an Omada access point mount accessory (hardware V1) designed for the EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor directional access points. It adds ±45° vertical and ±45° horizontal adjustment so the access point can be aimed precisely, is made from SUS304 stainless steel in Apple White, weighs 235 g and comes with screws and an installation guide.

APM-103 overview

The APM-103 is TP-Link's Omada access point mount accessory, listed on TP-Link Australia as hardware version V1. It is a tilting and swivelling bracket rather than an access point: TP-Link says it significantly enhances installation flexibility with ±45° vertical and ±45° horizontal adjustments, allowing you to easily position the Omada EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor for optimal performance. The datasheet lists exactly those two models as its compatible access points. TP-Link describes it as a versatile solution designed for challenging environments, so that an EAP650 D30-Outdoor can be easily reoriented to tackle any installation challenge, maximising network coverage and efficiency. It is not listed as compatible with the omnidirectional EAP650-Outdoor or the indoor EAP650 ceiling mount access point.

Adjustment matters most for directional access points. The EAP650 D120-Outdoor, for example, uses built-in directional antennas (2 x 8 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 2 x 10 dBi on 5 GHz) with a 120° horizontal and 30° vertical beamwidth, so where the unit points decides where the signal lands. With up to 45° of tilt and 45° of pan from the mounting point, the APM-103 lets an installer aim the beam down a car park, along a building facade or across a yard after the bracket is fixed, rather than relying on the angle of the wall or pole. TP-Link notes that the actual adjustment angle may be affected by the product antenna and the installation position, so allow clearance around the access point when planning the mount.

Construction is SUS304 stainless steel with an Apple White finish, for use with outdoor access points. The bracket measures 1.9 x 3.7 x 2.4 in (47.4 x 94.5 x 60 mm, W x D x H) and weighs 235 g. The package contains the APM-103, screws and an installation guide. Note that TP-Link's EAP650 D120-Outdoor product page lists a different optional bracket, the APM-100, with the same ±45° vertical and horizontal adjustment, while the APM-103 page and datasheet name the EAP650 D120-Outdoor as compatible; check the current TP-Link listings for your access point before ordering. The APM-103 is an accessory only: the access point, PoE power and network cabling are not included.

An Omada access point mount accessory that adds ±45° vertical and ±45° horizontal adjustment to TP-Link's EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor access points.

TP-Link lists the EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor as compatible access points.

They are not listed as compatible. TP-Link designed the APM-103 for the EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor.

±45° vertically and ±45° horizontally. TP-Link notes the actual angle may be affected by the product antenna and installation position.

SUS304 stainless steel, with an Apple White appearance.

47.4 x 94.5 x 60 mm (W x D x H) and 235 g.

No. The package contains the APM-103, screws and an installation guide.

Directional models concentrate their signal. The EAP650 D120-Outdoor has a 120° horizontal and 30° vertical beamwidth, so tilting and panning the unit with the APM-103 decides where its coverage lands.

Yes. It is made from SUS304 stainless steel and is designed for TP-Link's EAP650 D30-Outdoor and EAP650 D120-Outdoor outdoor access points; the EAP650 D120-Outdoor has an IP68 weatherproof enclosure.

TP-Link's EAP650 D120-Outdoor page lists the APM-100 as its optional bracket with the same ±45° adjustment. The APM-103 is a separate model whose datasheet lists both the EAP650 D30-Outdoor and D120-Outdoor.
