Professional Overview

The Teltonika RUTX12 is a premier industrial router, engineered for mission-critical applications that demand constant connectivity and high throughput. Its standout feature is the inclusion of two simultaneously operational LTE Cat 6 modems. This unique dual-modem design allows the RUTX12 to provide powerful load balancing and instant, seamless failover, making it the ultimate solution for applications where even a moment of downtime is unacceptable, such as mobile command centers, enterprise branch offices, and critical infrastructure monitoring.

At the core of the RUTX12's performance is its ability to aggregate bandwidth from two separate cellular networks. By combining two 300 Mbps Cat 6 connections, the router can achieve a total throughput of up to 600 Mbps, providing a powerful internet backbone capable of handling data-intensive tasks like high-definition video streaming, large data transfers, and supporting a large number of connected users. In a failover scenario, if one mobile connection is lost, the second modem instantly takes over the full traffic load, ensuring a completely uninterrupted connection. This entire process is managed by a powerful quad-core CPU, which ensures smooth operation even under heavy load.

The RUTX12 is also a powerful local networking hub. It features high-speed Wave 2 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi for fast wireless connectivity and five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a robust wired backbone. The router’s versatility is further enhanced by its rich set of interfaces, including a GNSS (GPS) receiver for precise location tracking and time synchronization, and Bluetooth LE for communication with a wide range of IoT sensors and beacons. Encased in a rugged aluminum housing and managed by the secure and feature-rich RutOS, the RUTX12 is fully compatible with the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS), making it a powerful, secure, and easily manageable solution for any advanced deployment.
