Professional Overview

The Teltonika RUT241 is a compact yet powerful industrial cellular router that builds on the legacy of the best-selling RUT240. It is engineered to provide reliable, mission-critical connectivity for a wide range of professional M2M and IoT applications. Its rugged aluminum housing, wide operating temperature range, and compact form factor make it the ideal choice for deployment in challenging industrial environments where space is at a premium and dependable connectivity is non-negotiable.

At its core, the RUT241 features a 4G LTE Cat 4 modem, delivering speeds of up to 150 Mbps, making it an excellent choice for both primary and backup connectivity. A key feature for ensuring business continuity is its automatic WAN failover, which seamlessly switches to the cellular connection if the primary wired internet link fails. In addition to its cellular capabilities, the device is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and 802.11n Wi-Fi, providing flexible local connectivity options for various devices and sensors.

Designed for versatile integration, the RUT241 includes a digital input and output on its 4-pin power connector, allowing for simple remote monitoring and control of external equipment, such as sensors or alarms. The device is fully compatible with the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS), enabling system integrators to securely monitor, configure, and manage entire fleets of routers remotely. This combination of robust performance, compact design, and advanced management makes the RUT241 a cost-effective and highly reliable solution for applications in industrial automation, smart city infrastructure, retail, and remote asset monitoring.
